You go in with zero expectations, and yet can't help feeling disappointed. I was bored most of the time.

There were no surprises here. The ending game was pretty obvious. Le sigh...

Colby ended up with someone I didn't want him with (i didn't want him with girl 2 either. yeah i'm difficult) (view spoiler)[why introduce Sage to us then? It felt like she was only there for the unnecessary angst ugh (hide spoiler)], but my boy got his HEA, and that's all that matters, right?

Seriously, I'm truly happy Colby finally got his HEA, but I'm still disappointed with his ending game. And with the whole emotional affair thing he had going on with her, I just couldn't root for them. Yeah, there's love triangle and emotional cheating (don't deny it, there was. they even almost kissed while he was still engaged).

I wish I saw all this epicness the other readers are seeing because all got from this book was a headache.

(view spoiler)[I didn't really get all this secrecy surrounding the h's name since anyone who read the epilogue in The Downside of Love was already expecting Ryan, and some like me were disappointed by it.

So basically Colby loses his first love to his best friend, and his ending game is the best friend of the said ex. Now they all a big happy family when in reality that's just fucking awkward.

P.S. I'm starting to get annoyed while writing this because (view spoiler)[see, Colby loved a woman for five years, then he fell in love with another woman or so he thought (which it was great) only to realize he loves ANOTHER woman (and I didn't like it). He asked the second girl to marry him, but he marries the third one instead (I'm not judging him or anything, I'm just disappointed). (hide spoiler)] OKAY! I'll stop thinking about it, or I'll start low the rate lol.
