My first audiobook and I chose a good one to listen to, love Patti’s speaking voice. I never knew much about her, she’s over a decade older then me and I wasn’t ever into punk music at all. This was very interesting though, how she met Mapplethorpe and how they got by in New York, their bohemian lifestyle, and the people who they spent time with. What a special relationship these two “kids” had!

I'm always on the lookout for a good audio! I have this book, but will try to track down the audio. Thanks for the great review :) For rock n roll audios, Heart has a memoir that's read by Ann and Nancy Wilson and it's great.
I'm so happy that you loved this, Karen, I only know the one song of hers, but I have loved the two books of hers that I've read, and hope to read more of her books. I suspect that this will always be my favourite of hers, though!

Check out In Cold Blood. Non-fiction, great audio narration. And that was my first audio. :-)
