Dragon Ascendants is the first book in the Luminess Legends series by Paul E. Vaughn. This is Paul’s debut book and I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Although fantasy books are not the genre I read the most, I like to through in a few every month to mix up my reading choices. I’m really glad I pick this one, the world building was amazing and the characters are detailed. Tallian is a great main character, who learns who he really is and the powers he possesses in this first installment. This story was fast paced and the ending was fantastic. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series. This is a wonderful debut book, that I highly recommend.
