Starburner (Moonburner Cycle #3)

While this is book 3 in the Moonburner Cycle, I did not read the first 2 books in the series so STARBURNER was a total stand-alone for me. I did not feel like I was stepping into the middle of a story. It absolutely stood on its own.
This is the story of maturing both in age and in skill. It's the story of destiny and following one's path. It's the story of love and understanding. Ultimately it's the story of how it only takes two people to change the path of what is coming ahead.
I really enjoyed reading this story. What thrilled me at the very beginning was the relationship between mother and daughter. Strong women raising strong women. Also, the way it was broken down in the writing. There are chapters and interludes and books all within the story. None of it was every too long and drawn out. It was the perfect pace for a story.
This is fast paced and full of action. I absolutely recommend this story and will be going back to read the first 2 in the trilogy.
