Fight Song by Grace Brennan is the third book in the Rocky River Fighters Series. I love this series Grace introduced me into the paranormal shifter genre. I love her writing, the easy flow of her words that completely pull you into her stories and hold your attention throughout the book. Fight Song is a second chance romance story that is filled with intense drama.
Piper McCoy does not want to return to Eagle Creek. The death of her grandmother has her returning to her hometown and settle her estate. Piper has had a divorce and is determined not to be vulnerable and hurt again. She arrives back home to Eagle Creek with her armor in place ready to handle business and avoid Jax.
Jax St. James is a shifter and a Rocky River Fighter. He broke Piper heart years ago but he thought he was doing the right thing for Piper. Jax is determined to do anything to have Piper back in his life. Piper doesn’t agree and sets in motion operation avoid Jax at all cost. Jax is always around when Piper needs help and is willing to step up and do what needs to be done. Regrets, old hurt and twist and turns mixed all in together, add to the drama of the relationships of Piper and Jax. Will Piper be able to forgive Jax and give love another chance?
Fight Song by Grace Brennan is a book that I highly recommend you read. You will love the characters and the development of their relationship. Grace continues to wow with this series. I highly recommend you read the other two books in this series to get the total Rocky River Fighters Series and like me this author will be added to your TBR list.
