I actually enjoyed this a little more than The Talisman. However, I would say that if you did not like The Talisman, you may not enjoy this one either. It does have a darker, more horror-like feel to it. Overall, I enjoyed it. Liked getting back to see Jack Sawyer. I'm Looking forward to the third book, if it is ever written, although I probably would want to read the Dark Tower series before I read it. Overall, I would say 3.5/5 stars rounded up.

I still haven't read either one of these I've been wanting too, but I just wasn't sure if it was more fantasy then horror?

They both have some fantasy elements to them. Black House has some horror also, but The Talisman not as much.

Not even sure why I liked Rose Madder as much as I did, but I did. The Dark Tower? EPIC. First book is a bit whacked at the end but the series is still a must-read.

I can’t believe I’ve not read the DT yet. Had it on my tbr forever. I need to make it a priority!
