My - very personal - view of this book is: not worth reading. Although the plot did not sound bad at all, I could not relate to the characters, nor to the storytelling as such. My 7 year old nephew tells stories this way: start at one end, jump to the next chapter and forget half of what's going on between chapters. This is the feeling I had with this book: always something, some events, some dialogues seemed to be missing. This appears to be a series, and I was under the impression this was the first book, but I felt that a lot happened before this story even started, and was not explained to me as the reader.
It looked to me as if, whilst editing, the author or editor deleted chapters and paragraphs instead of the numerous spelling errors.
