GEESH.....try to put this one down.....If you're a fan of sci-fi, you're going to love this, and if you're not, you just may become one. Enjoy a trip to Chicago, attend a Cub's game at Wrigley and ride the Ferris wheel, but be wary for life can change on a dime.
Jason Dessen is a genius, an Atomic Physicist and Professor at a small college. He has a loving wife, a bright teenage son, and everything is right as rain, but life as he knows it is about to become a living nightmare.
Full of imagination and intense moments, this magical story is a bit eerie, at times shocking and always full of suspense.
Don't take anything for granted in the world of DARK MATTER.......solve the problem, and enjoy a great read full of mystery and true love.

Yeah! This book is crazy but I agree about the beginning!
Just requested from the library....I am #372 in line with 42 copies available. Could be a while.....

Awesome review, Carol! I definitely fall into the "you may become one" category. I'm not a sci-fi person at all, but WOW. This book.
I loved this book and I thought I didn't like anything even near sci-fi (though if you read the threads--the sci-fi lovers are saying it's not REALLY sci-fi.....anyway this was pretty new for me and I have to say it was one of my faves of all-time!

I would have liked this review even if you hadn't mentioned a trip to Wrigley to see the Cubs! But as it is, I love it!
