I have written more than 10,000 original quotations and at present I'm also working at my only novel, Fort Attack, which is also a wide and open blog project. At the moment I'm teaching english in a secondary school, but up to now I have done a lot of other things as well, both in business, educational, sport and social filelds. Some years ago, in 1997 following the examples of the Rotary or the Lyons Clubs I founded the Daimon Club Organization to promote every sort of activities, creativity, art, literature, new technologies, informatics, business and marketing, public health and education and to meet new friends with these kind of interests.

Aforismi. Volume quarto. by Carl William Brown
“Non ho mai superato il trauma di essere venuto al mondo, non mi è mai piaciuta la stupidità dell'universo, e figuriamoci se potrò mai accettare il dolore per la morte di mia madre.

Aforismi. Volume quarto. by Carl William Brown
“I momenti di felicità… Ne abbiamo avuto l’esperienza, ma ci è sfuggito il significato, come diceva Eliot. O per meglio dire, non ce ne siamo resi conto, così la vita è passata e alla fine non mi è rimasto che il dolore per la perdita della persona più cara, mia mamma.

“The reading of good books could soothe human stupidity, the problem is that human stupidity does not like to read.”
Carl William Brown, Aforismi. Volume primo.

“How can you fight stupidity effectively? The answer is simple: it’s not easy.”
Carl William Brown, Aforismi contro il potere e la stupidità

“Repetita iuvant. Italy, a land of great saints, poets, sailors, artists, statesmen, businessmen, lawyers, intellectuals, professors, journalists, whores, gangsters, religious parasites and dickheads.”
Carl William Brown, L'Italia in breve.

“Reciprocal marketing, promotions and links. In public good experiments, behavioral economists have demonstrated that the potential for reciprocal actions by players increases the rate of contribution to the public good, providing evidence for the importance of reciprocity in social situations.”
Carl William Brown, Aforismi. Volume primo.

“The reading of good books could soothe human stupidity, the problem is that human stupidity does not like to read.”
Carl William Brown, Aforismi. Volume primo.

“Open text is one of a pair of terms popularized by Eco to refer to kinds of interpretative interactions between text and reader. An open text, unlike a closed one such as a work of popular fiction, is not aimed at a specific reader in a specific social context. It is also open in that its theme, structure and language are more complex, less explicit, more "open-ended": what other critics as Barthes in reception theory would call "Indeterminate". The open text constructs the model of its own reader as part of its structural strategy.”
Katie Wales

“Non capisco come in Italia venga proibita la vendita di droga e armi e si lasci invece la libertà agli autogrill di spacciare la loro schifosissima pizza.”
Carl William Brown, L'Italia in breve.
