I put work on The Honolulu Situation on haitus until my wife recovered from a medical procedure. I am proud to say she has been making rapid progress and we will be both get back at it very soon, better than ever.

I just tied up a very tidy plot bow. Feeling very pleased with myself, considering there are several hundred more still coming.

Lacking Evidence to the Contrary: A Lowbrow Novel of Questionable Necessity was written almost entirely between the hours of 9am and noon. It seems The Honolulu Situation will be written almost entirely between the hours of 9pm and midnight. This should be interesting.

The lesson learned was that one must keep one’s fucking eye on the ball in this world and not go down any meaningless sidetracks. Now, where was I?

I haven’t felt this confident in a ticket since Johnny K and I bet the wheel on Beto in the two spot at Newport Jai Alai in 1990.
