- Synopsis
- Victor (Liberto Rabal), a pizza delivery man, is obsessed with Elena (Francesca Neri), a beautiful Italian junkie he met and slept with a few days ago. When his aggressive courting is mistaken for rape, cops David (Javier Bardem) and Sancho (Jose Sancho) show up at the scene, Victor's gun accidentally goes off and the younger David is shot and paralyzed. Four years later David is a wheelchair basketball star, now married to Elena. When Victor is released from prison, their destinies begin to cross again. But nothing is what it seems, and only when Victor turns this world upside down do we see the true picture.
