Wanted
A frantic search was underway in the city of Idronatti on the planet Thera. PPP patrollers shed the ritualistic behavior required by the Peoples Plan Protectors, dressed in riot gear, and marched briskly along both sides of the city’s streets.
The target of their hunt hunkered lower. Booted feet marched within inches of his hiding place. Weapons clanking against body armor rattled in his ears. Men after prey sent a wave of anticipation washing over him. Davin Farlow tugged his uniform hat lower and ceased to breathe—thought only of fading into the shadow that served as his cover. When the sound of pounding feet began to fade, he exhaled and waited until uniformed backs rounded a distant corner.
Da’am my temper. He eased to standing. I wouldn’t be in this mess if I’d stayed away from Idronatti.

He’d discovered his ability to blend in at an early age. Unaware of how he did it, he learned to trust his instincts.
A sidestep closer to the office window allowed him to peer inside. His picture on the V-Screen and the word WANTED printed in large block letters above it filled him with dread. He curbed his growing agitation and sidled back into the
