    Foreword

Behold, you are beautiful, my love, behold, you are beautiful! Your eyes are doves behind your veil. Your hair is like a flock of goats leaping down the slopes of Gilead. (Song of Sol 4:1)

    Father, thy will be done.

    Preface

Warning: This is an adult novelette. Depictions of suicidal tendencies, actions, and outcomes are thoroughly portrayed throughout The Onion Prophet. This is done for the sake of the story and characters, not out of a sense of trying to be edgy, dark or emo. These aspects are sincerely relevant to the tale, and accordingly, treated with care.

Mature sexual themes and scenarios are also described, but not pedestalized or promoted. Sin is sin.

To anyone who’s lost somebody, don’t give up hope of seeing them again. They are and you are loved unconditionally by our Creator.

    Acknowledgement

I’m not one to lament, however the weight of destiny never left. It just got heavier with the manual labor. It rests on my shoulders as a reminder of the future I thought I’d had. Until everything fell apart. Sure, I could be more miserable. That girl, Casey, was SA’d by her stepdad who then ran off. She was happy when the breadwinner was gone. No matter
