Dr. Fizza Younis resides in the vibrant city of Lahore, Pakistan, where her journey through life has been as diverse as her country. With a Ph.D. in economics, she has delved deep into the intricate webs of financial theory, but the enchanting realms of fiction and poetry have captured her heart. Once upon a time, there was a story I desperately wanted to read but no one wrote it. I decided to write it myself. That’s how Somewhere in Time came into existence—my very first fairytale retelling. Sleeping Beauty’s tale soon became my most read work and I thought why not write more retellings?

Through Time is a retelling of Rapunzel with a twist. It’s a Snow White and Rapunzel crossover. The story is a standalone, but if you want to know more about Huntsman’s origin then read The Mirror, which is a retelling of Snow White.

Although, all three works are separate short stories, some characters overlap. They have different flavors and give different reading experiences to the readers. However, if you enjoy fairytales or fantasy in general, then these stories are for you.

When I write, I usually have only one intention i.e. to create something fun and lighthearted that everyone can enjoy. Also, knowing that everything isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, my only hope is that at least one person can genuinely say that this story changed him or her. As a writer, there is no greater honor.

    Always with love, Fizza Younis

    Chapter One: Into the Jungle

This feeling wasn't new to him. Ian Huntsman often felt alone in the world. Orphaned at a young age, he struggled to find his place until the day he met the Queen and went to live at the palace.

People often saw him as her lackey, but the truth was, she always treated him as a son and then as a friend. Only he was privy to the extent of the mirror's hold on her. She wasn't evil, and neither was he. Mere humans couldn't defy the mirror's magic. Well, what happened next was no longer a secret. He sighed feeling miserable at the turn of events, even though he had happily played his role of the betrayer—something he could
