About this ebook

Salvation is real: made free from sin, Satan and the judgement to come by the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is eternal, thus why salvation is the greatest miracle of all. If you are healed physically or receive financial miracle one day you will ultimately die but if you are saved you will live eternally with God. The greatest miracle is not the dead raised or the sick healed or delivered from evil spirits or financial breakthrough but salvation.

What is salvation? Salvation is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Salvation is personal well-being; it means to be made whole spirit, soul and body. How can I be saved? Salvation is obtained by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation is free gift. The Lord Jesus Christ paid the price; he died on your behalf. How do I know I am saved? There are three evidences of salvation: firstly, your life will be totally transformed, for example transformed from Simeon who denied the Lord Jesus Christ to Peter a key disciple and bold Christian or transformed from Saul the murderer to Paul who found the Lord Jesus Christ and follow him or transformed like Apollos from spiritual ignorance to knowing the right way of the Lord Jesus Christ. Secondly, you will have divine assurance inside of you that you are saved by faith. And thirdly, the Holy Spirit confirms your salvation as he testifies and witnesses in your spirit with his sweet, whispering gentle voice.

    Prologue:

The God of salvation, healing and miracles

God is the Saviour. The God that we worship and serve, he is the God of salvation, healing and miracles. Jesus saves, heals and does miracles! In Malachi 3:6,16 God said I am the Lord who change not. God is still doing salvation, healing and miracles. People may change but God never changes. Salvation is the gift of God. Healing and miracles are also the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit confirms salvation with healing and miracles.

Malachi the prophet continues in chapter three verse sixteen to speak about the communion of saints. The people of God gathered together often to meditate on the name of the Lord. The saints come together in a Christian gathering and share on the things of God. The people of God, who fears him, spend time together and discussed the things of God. God is pleased with his people when they live in group fellowship and work in ministry partnership.

I have written this book: Precious Salvation, in order to introduce you to the God of salvation, healing and miracles. It is the will of God that all people should be saved, healed and receive miracles. Salvation is a process and progress. Three kinds of words are used to explain salvation. First salvation is righteousness, to be counted righteous. Righteousness is a right stand with God or justification (Romans 10:9-10). Second salvation is sanctification. Sanctification is done through the word of God and the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:15-16). Salvation is glorification, this when the Lord Jesus Christ return (Romans 8:17-18). Therefore the three key words of salvation are righteousness, sanctification and glorification. Other verses of the Bible that explains salvation is a process is Romans 10:14-15. To receive salvation, God must send a preacher, a preacher then speak the gospel of God, you hear, you believe and lastly you call upon the Lord Jesus Christ. Between your salvation, ministry or anything you need there is a preacher, who God uses. Finally another way which describes salvation is a process is, God do your salvation in three times: past, present and future. God saved you the day you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour or when you prayed the prayer of salvation. That is in the past time (Ephesians 1:12-13). Present time is now life, God is saving you from risk, persecutions, temptations, offences and challenges of life (Ephesians 6:17 and Psalms 116:12-13). The future time is when salvation is called the hope of salvation (1 Thessalonians 5:8-9). Therefore salvation happens three times: you are saved, you are being saved and you will be saved.

We have looked to salvation as a process. But now let look to salvation as progress. Salvation is a spiritual growth. Salvation and ministry are meant by God to grow. A Christian is supposed to be nurtured to mature spiritually. God intends for every Christian to be a fully grown spiritual adult. There are three types of people in the sight of God. The apostle Paul describes these three types of people in the book of first Corinthians (1Corinthians 2:14-15 and 1 Corinthians 3:1-4). The three types of people are natural man, spiritual man and a carnal man. Firstly, the natural man is unsaved person who use his senses and has no the Spirit. To him the things of God are foolishness. Secondly, the spiritual man is a saved person and he has the Holy Spirit. He discerns the things of God and counted them precious. And thirdly, the carnal man or childish man is saved but is a baby in the Lord. God wants you to live and work as a full grown spiritual man. Progress is spiritual maturity and growth. God wants you to progress in salvation. Progress is to enter into new level of close relationship with God. Salvation progress from faith to faith in God. Also salvation progress from glory to glory and from strength to strength. Every New Year and fresh times of present life you need to progress in salvation. Salvation is not supposed to remain the same but to progress in to new level of the gospel and the Holy Spirit. Salvation needs to be nurtured and mature into new level with God. Salvation is progressive.

    Introduction:

    The salvation of God

Why do you need salvation? God many years ago created Adam put him in the Garden of Eden. God had a relationship with his friend Adam in the Garden of Eden. Adam worshipped his creator the God of heaven and earth. God was happy with his new friend. God put Adam in the Garden of Eden to dress and keep it (Genesis 2:15), in a sense God gave Adam a work to do. Therefore this was the life in the garden between God and Adam. God kept his relationship with Adam and Adam was working diligently in the garden. God also spoke to Adam and warn him there are things he will do and certain things he cannot do. What was this word? God said to Adam and commanded him to eat every tree in the garden but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat. For in the day you shall eat you shall surely die (Genesis 2:16-17).

Unfortunately one day Adam and his wife Eva sinned against God and lost their relationship with God. Adam and Eva ate the forbidden fruit of the knowledge of good and evil and they died spiritually. When Adam falls into sin he was separated from the presence of God. From that time God looked forward for the salvation of all people in the world (Genesis 3:15).

Years went by but God could not have a successful relationship with the human beings. God had other friends like Noah, Abraham, Moses, David and the prophets but God was not satisfied because his eternal purpose was to save the world through his Son, Jesus Christ. One day God so loved the world he sent his Son, Jesus Christ to save the world from sin, Satan and judgement to come (John 3:16-18). God loves people of every culture, class, age, gender, race, religion and region. What is salvation? Salvation means to be made whole spirit, soul and body. God never only intended your spirit to be made whole without your soul (mind, free will and emotions) and your physical body. Salvation is total well-being of a person.

Is it this the right time of salvation? The Bible says: We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:1-2).

People waste time saying I am not ready for a relationship with God. May be let me think about it I might have relationship with God in the future not today. But the Bible says now
