About this ebook
Barry Plamondon keeps the magic alive, speaking to us through his unique verse and rhyme. He leads on a path of nostalgic memories while guiding us on his journey into a world of dreamy days and starry nights, reminding us to seek the simple everyday joys of life. Even when we struggle with the challenges of life, Barry's poetry speaks to the resilience of the human spirit, reminding us to always "Run Between The Raindrops" and to keep on keeping on.His soulful words touched me deepest "in the places that have been broken", bringing light to "The Shadows".
The last poem brings us back to the first, and is best said in Barry's own words, "All I need to know about those little points of light Is they’re sparkling and shining so beautiful tonight".

Beautiful Tonight
Does a star shine brightest just before it dies?
Before it burns up and falls from the skies
As I gaze up at stars sparkling overhead
I wonder if it’s true some are long since dead
Sometimes it’s just too much for me to think about
Overthinking ruins the ambiance no doubt
All I need to know about those little points of light
Is they’re sparkling and shining so beautiful tonight
Water
I turn on the faucet to see if water will flow
Most days it does, some days, no
I have learned I don’t need water everyday
I can usually find myself another way
Over time I’ve learned so many ways to thrive
And I’ve always received enough water to survive,
I’ve learned to be ready for the floods in my own way
Knowing I may find the well dry on another day
Grecian Nights
Another Grecian night
Stargazer’s delight
The ancient Greeks
Loved to study the stars
And the planets too,
Jupiter and Mars
Archimedes, and
The great Pythagoras
Among ancient astronomers
They were the very best
Spending countless nights
Studying the sky above
Discovering new stars
And constellations to write of
Stronger
You’re stronger in places that have been broken
No truer words were ever spoken
Than these by the great Hemingway
A man who loved to have his say
The Old Stone Church
There’s an old stone church
That stands on the corner
It’s been there for over
