Kim Neal

Kim Neal grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. After 24 years of living in one of the world’s most beautiful countries (yes, she is biased), she decided to venture further afield to her father and Nana’s birthplace of London, UK.A geek at heart, Kim works as an IT Support Analyst for a global law firm. The practice of solving problems all day long extends into her personal life and this led to her investigating natural skin care to help improve her skin. Not content with self-knowledge, she wanted to share what she has learnt and has now created this skin care guide which contains a multitude of useful information. Kim has also completed a natural skincare course at the College of Naturopathic Medicine and has received a CNM Certificate in Natural Skincare.Aside from this, and on a completely different topic, another project of hers is the creation of an iPhone app called the Dating Game. The Dating Game helps to promote interesting conversation. You can check it out here: http://bit.ly/y6gT6Z

    ABOUT THE AUTHOR

    AUTHOR’S NOTE

    FOREWORD

    by Kim Neal (author)

As a child, you tend to believe everything you’re told. As an adult even, you are coerced into believing the cunning marketing of products you are told will make your life better. However, there comes a point when you start to investigate things for yourself. Well, this is exactly what I ended up doing anyway.

After spending far too much money on products claiming to improve my skin and not seeing any decent results, I began researching the ingredients in the skin care products I was purchasing. I was horrified! The chemicals in these mainstream products seemed to do more harm than good, not to mention the large hole they were leaving in my purse.

So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own skin care products. You’ll find recipes for cleansers, toners, moisturisers, scrubs and masks in this guide. After the initial cost of purchasing the natural ingredients, you’ll realise how much you’re saving. BUT not only will you be saving money – you will be saving your own skin!
