Fyodor Dostoevsky
Helstu verk hans, þar á meðal Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, og The Idiot, kafa ofan í þemu um siðferði, frjálsan vilja, sektarkennd og endurlausn. Djúpstæð áhrif Dostojevskíjs á bókmenntir og tilvistarheimspeki gera hann að einum mesta bókmenntamanni allra tíma.

Maybe it was his experience in prison during his lifetime where he managed to make a good observation of the inmates; but his description of the human nature is just amazing.
The pride, the shame, the guilt, the good and bad will, the emotional roller coaster during this old time classic book is why made him so famous.
Absolutely loved it, hard to put it down at the same time, every chapter and reaction is something to digest and reflect on oneself. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Not a bad book, a bit drawn out at times though.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Captivating. The Russian names may be a challenge for English speaking readers to remember. Spark notes came in handy.
