Unity is a drive towards social stability of a country. Any society and the nation as a whole might be ruined, if the issue of unity cannot be solved intelligently and with wisdom. Unity as a concept has always been misunderstood among members of certain communities, therefore this issue not only persists in the context of a plural society, but also abide in a community of homogeneous religion or race. The dream for unity must be based on clear evidence and not merely hypothetical. For the first time, Muslims are faced with a worldwide positivism which is working to use knowledge, the sciences ‎and their discoveries and achievements in a manner which severs the relationship between the Creator, the created ‎universe and man, thereby disregarding the world of the unseen and driving a wedge between science and values.‎
Lacking even the most modest store of vital Islamic doctrine on the intellectual level, university students and ‎researchers in the Islamic world are confronted with doctrines and philosophies which are presented to them ‎together with a flimsy, miserable defense of Islam. There is not a single academic institution in the Islamic world in ‎which Islamic thought is taught and in which the Islamic vision is given a deep-rooted foundation with the same ‎force and persuasiveness with which Western ideas and the Western vision are taught to students in the West, in a ‎coherent, comprehensive manner accompanied by seriousness and commitment on the part of all. The books argues ‎that this approach is diametrically opposed to the Islamic perspective and that we must disengage human scientific ‎achievement from positivistic philosophical premises and reemploy these sciences within a systematic ‎epistemological framework based on divine revelation, conferring honor upon all forms of knowledge, as having ‎been bestowed upon man by their Creator.‎

In the name of Allah, most Gracious and most Merciful. The digital age is slowly degrading the limitation and common understanding of privacy and trust through digital life, which has open world concept. It has become normal procedure when the user must submit their personal details for digital service such as social networking, electronic commerce, personal hosting, etc. Meanwhile, to be able to revealing their privacy willingly, user put their trust on organization to use their data based on agreement. In this sense, user expects their privacy right to be protected securely and actively. The dilemma occurred due to commercialization, consumerism and legislation as interaction issues, which shift the focus of user to identify the importance of their personal data and organization to analyze the process of data management. On the other hand, Islam gave the basic understanding in privacy and trust that emphasize important factor in human determination and intention. This paper will focus on how to define the standard and limitation of the concept privacy and trust based on Islamic perspective in aligning with the implication of digital age related to interest, classification and purpose.

Online football betting has become prevalent among Nigerian youths and for which Muslim youth are deeply involved. Betting of any kind is prohibited in Islam with evidence stated in many verses of the Glorious Qur'an and Ahadith. Therefore, this paper studied how Muslim youths participate in online football betting and the negative effects therein. It is also observed that due to the get rich quick syndrome and lack of the true Islamic knowledge led most of the Muslim youths into online football betting. The paper discussed most of the prevailing effects of betting/gambling on Muslim youth. The work suggested ways to eradicate or reduce the growing prevalence of online betting among Muslim youth. Furthermore, it has discussed the Islamic rulings regarding all forms of gambling or betting with verses from the Glorious Qur'an and Ahadith of Prophet Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Content analysis was adopted as the methodology for the research.

Although the question of Palestine continues to be of deep concern to the Muslim world, a systematic and viable Islamic response has been lacking. The case is but one that highlights the shortcomings of the classical methodology of interpretation in terms of effectively responding to contemporary conditions and realities. Using the Israel-Palestine conflict as a case study, this article examines the interpretation and application of jihad in Islam. It proposes a contemporary methodology for Quranic interpretation and application based on the integration of the maqasid-oriented approach, contextualization, and the use of social science research. The article demonstrates that, based on an inductive analysis of the Quranic verses concerning war and peace, non-violence is a legitimate form of jihad that is consistent with the higher objectives outlined in the Quran.
