Expert Choice

Many computer companies are vying with each other in producing and marketing their products in a diverse range of specifications including in the form of Desktops, Laptops and Tablets on the market, could make potential buyers become confused in determining the choice. In connection with the above, then I designed a decision support system for the selection of the computer so that the user can specify his choice exactly liking and budget. The method used to support the selection of a computer decision support system is to use the method Hierarchy Analytical Process (AHP). This method was chosen because it is able
to choose the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the alternative in question is the selection of the best computer based on the criteria and sub-criteria specified. Results of this research process of implementing an alternative method of AHP to sort the greatest value to the smallest value which is Desktop, Tablet and Laptop.

KKP Yazılımlarında veri tabanı bir bütün olduğundan, işletmenin başarısı veya başarısızlığı diğer bölümlerin başarılarını da direkt olarak etkiler. Bu çalışmada bir işletmede tespit edilen sorunlar bölümleri ilgilendirme önceliğine göre sınıflara ayrılmış, ardından bu sorunlar KKP açısından işletmedeki diğer bölümleri de ilgilendirme özelliğine göre tekrar sıralanmıştır. Tüm sorunlar eşit öneme göre puanlandırılmış ve sorunlar Expert Choice V.11 ile analiz edilmiş, raporlanmış ve sonuç bölümünde bulunan değerler yorumlanmıştır.

Decision Support System is a case tool used to ease a decision makers to be more quickly and objectively. A case study of PT. X is one of the objects which will make the selection of employees to promote. The problem is determining what criteria will be used as determinant factors and how to make a prototype? The research methodology used is the system analysis, design system and system implementation. Determination of criteria that will be chosen is a decision that must be taken by the head of the company Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method or tool in decision making multi criteria by using the help of Expert Choice software. Results are used to facilitate the user in selecting employees who will be chosen to ascend to a certain position This prototype is expected to assist in accelerating the decision making of employees who elected to board positions.

Due to the central role of cranes in construction operations, specialists in the construction industries have cooperated in the development of structured methods and software to help select the best crane type in construction sites. Crane selection is a time consuming process which needs extensive data exploitation. Moderately few systems have been developed to aid in selecting cranes and in setting their lifts. These systems although may have rich databases, they lack the support of knowledge based decision making. The process of crane selection is a multi-criteria decision-making problem with conflicting and diverse objectives. In this work, a systematic methodology is presented under the consideration of multiple factors and objectives that are witnessed to be crucial to the construction process. The model includes building an analytic hierarchy structure with a tree of hierarchical criteria and alternatives to ease the decision-making. Three alternative crane types were considered, namely, Tower, Derrick and Mobile cranes. An Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to assist in building the model and help draw decisions. While deploying the crane selection objectives into layered sub-goals, conclusions could be drawn on the type to be used in construction according to knowledge based evaluation and assessment. Expert Choice™ software is used to conduct the experimental assessments. The judgments were found to be consistent, precise and justifiable with narrow marginal inconsistency values. The paper also presents a thorough sensitivity analysis to demonstrate the confidence in the drawn conclusions.

The voting process conducted service today is still done manually so that it becomes a decision to utilize the electronic voting (e-voting) processing services. E-voting greatly reduce human control and direct their influence on this process. Provide an opportunity to resolve some of the problems that have long election but also provide a series of new concerns. Problems faced by end users in the selection is there are so many choices of software processing electronic voting services based on Information Communication Technology (ICT).
Decision-making, essentially a form of election of the various alternatives of action or multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) that can be selected. In this research, decision support system (DSS) is used to select the type of service software processing electronic voting. The method used is the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) using "Expert Choice 2000TM" software computer. And aims to make decisions that can help make certain parties to take the best decision in choosing the type of software processing services electronic voting. From the data processing is concluded that the first sequence is Online voting, ExpressVote second, Simply voting third, and Ballot Online fourth.

In this study, a fire-fighting scenario in an office environment wherein three different nonholonomic differential-drive mobile robots are used is considered as a case study. The 2D configuration space of the office environment is divided into grid cells by using the method of “Occupancy Grid Map” such that each grid cell is associated with each interrelated node. Each robot constructs a reachability three by using these nodes and Breadth-First Search (BFS) algorithm. The back-tracking algorithm is used to obtain the finite solution set of paths from the motion planning. The set of alternatives is constructed by randomly selecting routes from the finite solution set of paths. Each robot determines its own best route by applying Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods such that “Elimination et Choix Traduisant la Realite (ELECTRE I)” and “Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS)”. Criteria for the path selection is weighted by applying the method of “Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP)”. Then, each robot except the leader robot sends its best path-info to the leader so that the leader robot determines the most suitable robot that conforms to the fire-fighting task by using AHP. To analyze the effect of criteria’s weights on the alternatives and perform sensitivity-graphs, Expert Choice 11 software is used. The robot determined by the leader executes the task by tracking its own best path.

There was a transition from the manually voting process is done into a decision to utilize the processing electronic voting services. In this research, decision support system is used to assist in the effort choosing the type of electronic voting software processing services of several types of software services that exist at this time to be selected or used by end users. The method is using the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This method was chosen because it is able to choose the supreme alternative out of several alternatives to solve the problems of software selection processing services electronic voting based on specified criteria. From the data processing can be concluded that the first sequence is Online-Voting; the second is Express-Vote; third is Simply-Voting; and the fourth is Online-Ballot.

Designing of forest road network is a complex engineering problem. Therfore, the economic and environmental issuuse should be considered in forest road network designing. The aim of paper is to develop a method using GIS and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to design a forest road network with the lowest construction cost while maintaining other technical requirements. First of all, the required data was collected from the study area. Then the necessary maps including slope, aspect, altitude, soil, geology and standing volume was determined as well as the importance coefficient of each layer of maps was determined via Expert Choice (EC) software. Then, road planning potential map was prepared by overlaying these layers. Finally, the proposed road network techniqually evaluated by merging the planned road network and road planning potential map based on Backmund criteria. Results indicated that the proposed road network with density of 10.67 m/ha and 81.6% road coverage is preffered to the existing road.

The development of management logic systems and information technology have imposed on the management structures of railway undertakings that when investing in railway freight insurance, they can create a myriad of different project variants, combining: a) with different technological levels of insurance, b) different levels of security, and c) different investment costs. This paper, on the example of a particular railway freight company, points to the possibility of applying multicriteria analysis in the ranking and selection of an insurance variant, which in the given conditions gives a satisfactory or approximately best solution. The problem was solved with the use of Expert Choice 2000 Enterpprise 10.1 software, based on the method of analytical hierarchy processes (AHP).

Rазвој управљачких логичких система и информационе техноогије наметнули су менаџментским структурама жељезничких предузећа да приликом инвестирања у осигурање жељезничких товаришта могу сачинити безброј различитих варијанти пројеката, комбинујући: а) са различитим технолошким нивоом осуигурања, б) различитим нивоом безбиједности и ц) различитим трошковима улагања. Овим радом се, на примјеру конкретног жељезничког товаришта, указује на могуност примјене вишекритеријумске анализе при рангирању и избору варјанте осигурања, која у датим условима даје задовољавајуће или приближно најбоље рјешење. Проблем је рјешаван уз кориштење софтвера Expert Choice 2000 Enterpprise 10.1, зaснoвaн нa мeтoди аналитичких хијерархијскиџх процеса (AХП).

ABSTRAK Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) adalah sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu seseorang dalam mengambil keputusan secara akurat dan sesuai dengan sasaran yang diinginkan. Banyak permasalahan yang dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK), salah satunya adalah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan penentuan pemilihan perangkat lunak pengolah citra yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Metodelogi yang digunakan untuk proses sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) dalam pemilihan perangkat lunak pengolah citra pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metodelogi Analitical Hierarcy Process (AHP). Metode ini dipilih karena mampu memilih alternatif terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif, dalam hal ini alternatif yang dimaksud adalah efektifitas penerapan metodelogi Analitical Hierarcy Process (AHP) dalam pemilihan perangkat lunak pengolah citra terbaik berdasarkan kriteria dan sub-kriteria yang ditentukan. Hasil dari proses pengimplementasian metode AHP dapat mengurutkan alternatif dari nilai yang terbesar ke nilai yang terkecil. Kata kunci: Pemilihan perangkat lunak pengolah citra, SPK, AHP, Expert Choice. PENDAHULUAN Persoalan pengambilan keputusan, pada dasarnya merupakan bentuk pemilihan dari berbagai alternatif tindakan yang mungkin bisa dipilih. Sebelum menentukan alternatif, diperlukan data-data yang akurat untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang tepat dan akurat, bila data-data yang dimasukan tidak akurat maka proses perhitungan dapat menyebabkan hasil yang salah sehingga alternatif keputusan yang dihasilkan pun menjadi tidak akurat. Kebutuhan sistem pendukung keputusan akan sangat diperlukan untuk menjaga kestabilan hasil akhir dari proses perhitungan untuk pemilihan alternatif keputusan.

The availability of innumerable intelligent building (IB) products, and the current dearth of inclusive building component selection methods suggest that decision makers might be confronted with the quandary of forming a particular combination of components to suit the needs of a specific IB project. Despite this problem, few empirical studies have so far been undertaken to analyse the selection of the IB systems, and to identify key selection criteria for major IB systems. This study is designed to fill these research gaps. Two surveys: a general survey and the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) survey are proposed to achieve these objectives. The first general survey aims to collect general views from IB experts and practitioners to identify the perceived critical selection criteria, while the AHP survey was conducted to prioritize and assign the important weightings for the perceived criteria in the general survey. Results generally suggest that each IB system was determined by a disparate set of selection criteria with different weightings. 'Work efficiency' is perceived to be most important core selection criterion for various IB systems, while 'user comfort', 'safety' and 'cost effectiveness' are also considered to be significant. Two sub-criteria, 'reliability' and 'operating and maintenance costs', are regarded as prime factors to be considered in selecting IB systems. The current study contributes to the industry and IB research in at least two aspects. First, it widens the understanding of the selection criteria, as well as their degree of importance, of the IB systems. It also adopts a multi-criteria AHP approach which is a new method to analyse and select the building systems in IB. Further research would investigate the interrelationship amongst the selection criteria.

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar como la adecuada y oportuna toma de decisiones influye en la relación entre competitividad territorial y gestión ambiental. En el documento se hace una breve introducción y se describe como la creación de ventajas competitivas tiene un carácter local en la gestión de los Gobiernos Autónomos Descentralizado. Después, se presenta una reflexión sobre los conceptos de gestión ambiental en relación a los factores macroeconómicos. A continuación, se define el procedimiento  específico  para  implementar  el  control de la gestión ambiental y se hace una lista de aquellos resultados del consenso entre actores internos y externos del municipio que se han influenciado en lo político, lo económico, lo estratégico y en la inteligencia colectiva sobre todo en el ámbito público. Finalmente, se presentan las direcciones  estratégicas que permitirá enfocar la gestión hacia los resultados reales obtenidos en el ámbito de la calidad y responsabilidad de las instituciones participantes.
