6 th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEEN 2022) aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to focus on recent systems and techniques in the broad field of Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Communication Engineering. Original research papers, state-of-theart reviews are invited for publication in all areas of Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following areas, but are not limited to.

In this study, simultaneous coordinated designing of power system stabilizer and static VAR compensator damping controller is investigated. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to search for optimal controller parameters, by incorporating chaos. PSO with chaos is hybridized to form a chaotic PSO, which reasonably combines the population-based evolutionary searching ability of PSO and chaotic searching behavior. The efficiency of the proposed controllers is exhibited through the eigenvalue analysis and nonlinear time-domain simulation. The results of these studies show that the proposed coordinated controllers have an excellent capability in damping interarea oscillations.

Surface domain patterns in electrical steel, which appear under rotational magnetisation, were noted to be comparable to those which are observed under high compressive stress. This paper presents comparison of peak to peak magnetostriction of Epstein strips under high compression magnetised along rolling and transverse directions, and disc samples under rotational and uniaxial magnetisation with no external stress applied. Good correlation was found between magnetostriction measurement results obtained in the rolling direction of non-oriented Epstein strips under high compression and disc samples under rotational magnetisation. Also it was observed that the rotational magnetostriction of grainoriented electrical steel is greater than its uniaxial value under compressive stress. Streszczenie. Artykuł prezentuje porównanie magnetostrykcji pasków Epsteina magnesowanych wzdłuż i prostopadle do kierunku walcowania (podanych naprężeniu) oraz próbek w formie dysku poddanych magnesowaniu osiowemu i rotacyjnemu (bez naprężenia). W przypadku blach niezorientowanych znaleziono korelację między magnetostrykcją w kierunku walcowania oraz stratami przy magnesowaniu rotacyjnym. W przypadku blach zorientowanych magnetostrykcja rotacyjna była większa niż jednoosiowa przy naprężeniu próbki. (Porównanie jednoosiowej i rotacyjnej magnetostrykcji blach elektrotechnicznych zorientowanych i niezorientowanych)

This paper proposes a method of designing the adaptive uniform quantizer for frame by frame LPC coefficients quantization. The method firstly determines the support region thresholds of two uniform quantizers designated to quantize the minimal and the maximal value of LPC coefficients of each frame. Based on this, the uniform quantizer thresholds estimation for LPC coefficients quantization are provided. The results obtained by testing the proposed method in processing the speech signal from the TIMIT data base are presented and disscused in the paper. Streszczenie. W artykule zaproponowano metodę zuniformowane go adaptacyjne kwantowania współczynnika LPC (linear prediction coders). Początkowo obliczana jest minimalna i maksymalna wartość LPC dla każdej ramki. Następnie zuniformowany współczynnik jest określany. Zaprezentowano test metody na przykładzie przetwarzania sygnału mowy z bazy TIMIT. (Metoda projektowania adaptacyjnego kwantyzera LPC)

The paper presents the method for interpolating digital images that automatically generates a sequence of images showing the methamor- phosis of the content of the first image into the content of the second. Morphological interpolation performs this transformation by the modification of shapes of objects present in both images. The method is based on universal morphological interpolator, which - thanks to its parameters - allows obtaining various results of transformation. The method makes use of interpolation function that is computed based on geodesic distance functions. The method, originally applied only to interpolate binary images, may also be used to morph graytone and (in some extent) color images, what is also presented in the paper.
