Paper draws upon literary theory to revisit the two clauses that, traditionally, make up Song 1:1. The first clause evaluates the work as the song-most of songs, which refers to the work’s manifold form of simulation—a literary work representing the speech of a dreamer, who speaks from both inside and outside the dream. Crankshaft is one of the critical components for the effective and precise working of the internal combustion engine. In this paper a static simulation is conducted on a crankshaft from a single cylinder 4-stroke diesel engine. A three-dimension model of diesel engine crankshaft is created using solids work software. Finite element analysis (FEA) is performed to obtain the variation of stress magnitude at critical locations of crankshaft. Simulation inputs are taken from the engine specification chart. The static analysis is done using FEA Software ANSYS which resulted in the load spectrum applied to crank pin bearing. This load is applied to the FEA model in ANSYS, and boundary conditions are applied according to the engine mounting conditions. The analysis is done for finding critical location in crankshaft. Stress variation over the engine cycle and the effect of torsion and bending load in the analysis are investigated. Von-meshes stress is calculated using theoretically and FEA software ANSYS. The relationship between the frequency and the vibration modal is explained by the modal and harmonic analysis of crankshaft using FEA software ANSYS.

This article contributes to the ongoing discussion on rural development programs aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Global South. The research question examines how the Smart Rural Communities (SRC) framework can support the SDGs as an international cooperation model. The article presents findings from fieldwork action research including a critical analysis of the hegemonic discourse on smart cities and provides final recommendations. Additionally, it introduces the concept of SRC. The fieldwork action research was conducted in post-conflict rural areas in Colombia’s Bolivar region and remote settlements in Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado province. Este trabajo intenta vincular los procesos económicos de creación de valor con fundamentos institucionales de carácter formal e informal. Entre estas últimas se consideran un conjunto de conductas y virtudes necesarias para que las personas se involucren en un proceso virtuoso de cooperación social y, al mismo tiempo, encuentren sentido a la vida. En otros términos, se intenta una aproximación a los requisitos morales para el florecimiento humano en el ámbito de una sociedad abierta. Al mismo tiempo, se analizan un conjunto de desafíos que enfrenta la misma y que podrían hacerla retroceder a estadios relativamente primitivos. Finalmente, se considera que los miembros que caracterizan a la sociedad abierta del respeto, la tolerancia y la inclusión son personas libres y responsables.

Changing Borders and Challenging Belonging Policy Change and Private Experience by Georg Grote and Andrea Carlà (eds) , 2024

This chapter challenges belonging and borders from a decolonial perspective by focusing on the impact of the creation of states on the Indigenous Sámi people in the three Nordic States (Norway, Sweden and Finland) and the Russian Federation. In this frame, it aligns with the arguments of this volume’s editors that not only borders and identities are socially constructed concepts but also human societies are much more complex than the idea, or the ideal, of a nation-state, being rather characterized by diversity and multiple identities. This, however, does not mean that borders, in the legal and political sense, have not affected or do not impact peoples’ daily lives. This is particularly evident in the case of Indigenous Peoples, such as the Sámi, who live across national frontiers, and, as the volume editors argue, enter those power dynamics and processes of inclusion and exclusion that are present in all types of borders.

In present work twin paradox (clock paradox) is considered from logic positions. It is shown that the paradox is caused by that the mobile and motionless reference frames are accepted to be equivalent. The paradox disappears if one of the reference frames motionless relative stars is selected. It is shown that such a conclusion does not contradict Michelson experiment because in both systems all physical processes proceed equally. It is also shown that the physical reason of special role of reference frame which is motionless in relation to stars consists in motionless electromagnetic ether. The electromagnetic ether is full synonym to concepts of physical vacuum and dark energy in the phenomena of various scales. The electromagnetic ether in relation to electromagnetic waves is only environment in which they propagate, not their carrier, as for classical ether of the nineteenth century. Other properties of electromagnetic ether are considered. In particular, it is shown that ether is carrier of gravitational field. Connection between properties of the ether and some quantum phenomena is also considered.
