The editors identify and select these reviewers based on their demonstrable and recognized research expertise, professional experience, critical judgment and foresight, and forward thinking in their field of expertise. We express our deepest appreciation to these guest editors who have created special topical issues of JTST published in 2020, and to these reviewers, all of whom have completed manuscript reviews during 2020. Thank you all for giving generously of your valuable time and expertise.
An outline of this edition, and acknowledgements of gratitude for the foundation of the journal.

As we proceed through our final year of editing the Review (something we approach with mixed feelings of relief and satisfaction), we will reflect from time to time on lessons learned, changes achieved (or perhaps only observed), and trends still underway. High on this list-and commented on by many of our colleagues and correspondents-is the internationalization of the journal, in terms both of its reviewers and its authors. This issue alone contains contributions from citizens of (in alphabetical order) France
We wish to thank the Department of Spanish and Portuguese and the Gradúate Students Association at UCLA for making this issue possible. MESTER is sponsored by the Gradúate Students Association, University of California, Los Angeles. It publishes criticai articles, interviews and book reviews in Spanish, Portuguese and English. To be considered for publication, manuscripts should foUow the New MLA Style Sheet. Preference will be given to manuscripts which do not exceed 15 pages. The original and three copies are required for ali work. Picase do not write author's ñame on manuscripts: attach cover letter. The original of rejected articles will be retumed on request if sufficient loóse postage accompanies the manuscript. Submissions that are being considered by another joumal or by a publisher are not accepted. Authors receive five complimentary copies of the issue in which their work appears.
international public history, 2024
Decolonization is the subject of an abundant literature, both as a historical event and as a contemporary process. In relations with the past, debates have risen about issues such as colonial monuments, museum collections, and repatriation. Rather than dealing with a specific type of space, institution, or material, this special issue in International Public History offers a discussion on the many links between decolonization and public history. The articles explore if and to what extent public history practices can contribute to decolonizing the history production process (through decolonized sources, decolonized interpretation processes, and decolonized space of communication of history). The articles discuss what 'public' in 'public history' means: who is doing history, for whom, with whom, and for what? The selfreflective approach of public history also questions the colonial bias and processes at stake in institutions such as archives, museums, and universities. The special issue includes contributions from various countries (South Africa, Kenya, Brazil, Canada, and Japan) to foster discussions on the plurality of links between public history and decolonization in an international context that goes beyond the too-often Western oriented public history frameworks.

Quantum coherence involves a precise phase-correlated coupling between body rhytms such as the constant communication that occurs between the human heart and the rest of the body. Increased coherence in a single system, such as in the electromagnetic field of the heart, can drive coordination of related physiologic systems within the body. Research studying heart rate variability revealed that an individual's emotional states can be directly correlated to cardiac electromagnetic coherence. Positive coping mechanisms and intention have been shown to increase cardiac coherence, whereas negative emotions result in diminished coherence. As the most powerful and consistent generator of rhythmic information patterns in the body, the heart is in continuous communication with the brain and whole body through multiple pathways: neurologically, (through the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS)) biochemically (through hormones), biophysically (through pressure and sound waves), and energetically (through electromagnetic field interactions). Because of the extensiveness of the heart's influence on physiological, cognitive, and emotional systems, the heart provides a central point of reference from which the dynamics of such processes can be regulated.
