{"data":{"abstract":{"value":"<p>We construct analytic (<math xmlns=\"http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML\" display=\"inline\"><mrow><mn>3</mn><mo>+</mo><mn>1</mn></mrow></math>)-dimensional inhomogeneous and topologically nontrivial pion systems using chiral perturbation theory. We discuss the effect of isospin asymmetry with vanishing electromagnetic interactions as well as some particular configurations with nonvanishing electromagnetic interactions. The inhomogeneous configurations of the pion fields are characterized by a nonvanishing topological charge that can be identified with baryons surrounded by a cloud of pions. This system supports a topologically protected persistent superflow. When the electromagnetic field is turned on the superflow corresponds to an electromagnetic supercurrent.</p>","format":"html"},"articleType":"article","authors":[{"type":"Person","name":"Fabrizio Canfora","firstname":"Fabrizio","surname":"Canfora","affiliationIds":["a1"]},{"type":"Person","name":"Stefano Carignano","firstname":"Stefano","surname":"Carignano","affiliationIds":["a2"]},{"type":"Person","name":"Marcela Lagos","firstname":"Marcela","surname":"Lagos","affiliationIds":["a3"]},{"type":"Person","name":"Massimo Mannarelli","firstname":"Massimo","surname":"Mannarelli","affiliationIds":["a4"]},{"type":"Person","name":"Aldo Vera","firstname":"Aldo","surname":"Vera","affiliationIds":["a3"]}],"affiliations":[{"name":"Centro de Estudios Científicos (CECS), Casilla 1469, Valdivia, Chile","id":"a1"},{"name":"Departament de Física Quàntica i Astrofísica and Institut de Ciències del Cosmos, Universitat de Barcelona, Martí i Franquès 1, 08028 Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain","id":"a2"},{"name":"Instituto de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas, Universidad Austral de Chile, Casilla 567, Valdivia, Chile","id":"a3"},{"name":"INFN, Laboratori Nazionali del Gran Sasso, Via G.
