Since the 21st century, the idea of green constructing has gradually become popular again was launched in many countries, which has become a popular alternative to sustainable development construction industry. Over the past few decades, many scholars and experts have done more research on the green structure. Green construction technology is one of the world’s leading topics set to reduce the major impact of the construction industry on the environment, society and the economy. The world has an urgent need for sustainability and an intelligent development as the problem of pollution and global warming grows rapidly around the world. Major climate change has also been noted and experience globally due to the proliferation of Green House Gases (GHG's). The purpose of this paper is to focus on how sustainable constructing material can help reduce the impact of environmental degradation, and produce healthy buildings that are sustainable for the human being and for our environment.
Global environmental issue of climate change is caused by the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and it has been recognized as one of the greatest threats of the 21 st century. The consumption of energy in India is rising due to rapid urbanization, population explosion, intensive growth of information technology and related businesses. Buildings are the prime energy consumers in modern cities accounting up to 40% energy consumption. Their consumption can largely be cut back through improving efficiency, which is an effective means to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and slow down depletion of non-renewable energy resources.
World is flourishing in every possible ways in technology, with the pace of technology the construction concept is also upgrading. People perception and desire have really racket and made bad impact in the environment so this is a time where we need to work in collaboration with environment in every instant. So, Green buildings concept has arises which have good impact in environment ensuring the quality health of people. The movement of green concept was commenced long back but still its impact is not in that extend. Tremendous Green building councils around the globe are working actively for making people aware about this technology. The cost and difficult pointing system for the certification have made this technology very limited up till today. Middle class and poor people's concentration is more in the world but they are unable to afford this technology so there is not much improvement till date. Now the scenario has to be changed and we should make up green building approachable to all the people of the world. This paper forwards the main concept about green building and the things that we need to amend and new concept that need to be forwarded with which all the people around the world would have accesses to this technology and our vision of making green world would be successful very soon.

The phenomena of climate change and global warming present us with numerous challenges today. Several scientific studies indicate that the construction industry is largely responsible for this state of affairs. Inappropriate technologies, equipment and building materials are used in construction, which are harmful to the environment and human health. Therefore, these issues need to be addressed immediately. Due to global warming, engineers and technologists have become increasingly aware of the environmental impact of the construction sector in recent decades. They propose the introduction of sustainable or green design principles to mitigate the above threats. Sustainable building design aims to transition from harmful to non-harmful materials and technologies in construction. The aim of this study is to investigate environmentally friendly technologies, materials and standards that can reduce the energy and resource consumption of buildings, leading to a positive outcome for people, society and the environment. Compared to conventional buildings, sustainable buildings are more environmentally and people friendly and use key resources more efficiently. This study also shows how sustainable buildings can benefit people and the environment while reducing damage to nature.
Along with other developing countries Malaysia’s Industrial building system known as IBS has developed a lot for the purpose of maintaining sustainability in building system and government. The main aim of IBS is to deliver and enhance sustainability in terms of construction and environment. Some resources are about to finish, eventually with the aid of IBS the chance to prevent shortage of sources will increase. In construction sustainability needs to be considered in order to have maintained healthier built environment. Not only to prevent resource overuse, but also to meet people’s safety in building construction IBS is highlighted. It is also related to one society’s national economy since in terms of IBS groups of people will be provided by buildings which each will be economical with sustainability criteria. If the building site be adjusted to sustainability principles it means that construction environment is controlled. Due to the high cost on-site assembly process if the planning and the process of construction do not control and achieved correctly, the sustainability’s profits will not be accomplished. In IBS if efficient control of planning and process not be monitored very well, benefits of IBS in sustainability can be lost because of high cost on-site assembly processes.
In the present era of growing population there is a parallel demand for the construction industry as well as fertile land which is a finite resource. To suffice this need a large number of construction companies are coming up. In this process the deterioration of land, environment, healthy life style and safety is overlooked. The use of land and resources for constructions are becoming endless and is against sustainable development. In the present period of water scarcity the wastage of water and energy which is indirectly related to water is bothersome. Therefore in concern to the above problem, the main aim is to evaluate the impact of overlooked areas and study the incorporation of green building techniques into constructions that can help address National concerns like water efficiency, energy efficiency, reduction in fossil fuel use, handling of consumer waste and conserving natural resources. Most importantly, these concepts can enhance occupant health and well-being, which is...

Conventional buildings produce high amount of greenhouse gas, large quantity of construction and demolition debris (which decrease landfill capacity), disturbs the natural resources and also it consumes a big part of energy and water. Implementation of various simple and sustainable techniques practiced individually can help in many ways to create a structure that is environment friendly, consumes minimal natural resources and at the same time be economical in nature. This paper makes an effort to study the Green Building construction method and new technologies which enables to create a sustainable structure. It also includes design concepts of Green Building, methodology and materials requirement and ideas and suggestions to create a checklist for a builder for him to refer the various suggestions in every phase of construction of a general structure
Because of increasing urbanization various tremendous environmental problems are rising. The increasing demand of houses consumes more energy, resources and raw materials which are directly or indirectly liable for causing a considerable portion of the annual environmental deterioration and harmful effect on human health. Usually building materials are selected upon their physical, chemical and mechanical properties whereas the selection and use of green materials depends on their functional, technical and financial properties. Green materials comprises of recycled and reused materials, sustainable production of products, locally available materials or use of green resources. The purpose of this paper is to describe some green materials in building construction and to highlight its beneficial aspects on lessening the impact of environmental degradation and generate healthy sustainable buildings which can be sustainable to the occupant as well as our environment.

In any construction activity, the material is an essential component. But in construction, there is a large dependency on man-made materials as compared with materials from natural resources. Manufacturing of manmade building materials emits a large amount of CO2, CO, NO2, and other environmentally unfriendly gasses and by-products which may be poisonous and harmful for human health as well as for the environment. Because of this infrastructure sector is one of the leading causes of environmental degradation. With drastic exposure in population in recent times, the demand for these man-made materials has been increased a lot. To meet this need of the current situation, we have to look for sustainable, eco-friendly materials that have characteristics like energy efficiency, easy availability, and not disturbing towards environment ecology system. The main aim of these green building materials is to reduce the impact of construction activities on human health and the natural environment. This current paper reviews the impact of sustainable green building material on the environment, its properties, and its benefits. Different types of green building material and their characteristics and specifications. In this, a comparison between green building and conventional building on various conditions is also discussed. Further, we have also reviewed U.S. green building rating systems (LEED) and its criteria for certification.

In this globalization era, sustainable constructions have taken on some new steps to stimulate green building practice.Green building criteria basis are energy efficiency, material and resource conservation and sustainable design of the building itself.Energy efficiency still has a long way to go, due to some barriers that prevail in the practice of energy efficiency.Similarly, materials and design that are originally used have created various issues related to the environment and human health. In Malaysia, people’s level of awareness about green building is still low and they have minimum understanding and lack of familiarity about green materials and sustainable design.According to Klufallah, Nuruddin, Khamidi and Jamaludin (2014), 24% of total of carbon dioxide (CO2) comes from the construction sector in the Malaysia. Therefore, this study aims to look into building energy efficiency and materials and design employed in green buildings to achieve constructive sustainability and to ...
