In an effort to substitute antibiotics in high-energy diets fed to feedlot cattle, probiotics have emerged as a viable alternative. In this study, increase of animals body weight (BW) and average daily gain (ADG) were used as indicators of probiotics Limosilactobacillus (L.) fermentum CRL2085 and L. mucosae CRL2069 (108–109 CFU/g) supplementation (individually or combined) to grain-based diets containing or not monensin during different periods of feedlot fattening cycle. Results showed that the greatest cattle BW (116.6 kg) and ADG (1.19 ± 0.17 kg/animal/day) were achieved when CRL2085 probiotic was individually supplied during 56 days (after adaptation period) in the absence of monensin (p  0.01). In the presence of monensin, reduced BW and ADG mean values were obtained during the whole feedlot cycle (98 days) by probiotics supplementation. Thus, L. fermentum CRL2085 probiotic strain administered to feedlot cattle fed diets without monensin may result in a greater cumulative BW and ADG with a shorter administration time comparing with diets containing the ionophore.

The region of Oued Righ is considered as a poor region in terms of precipitation, which it receives less than 150 mm / year. The intensive use of groundwater has led to many problems of wastewater discharges and an excess of irrigation water, which makes an adverse impact on the environment and the rise of the water table. Applying the WEAP software "water assessment and planning", this paper aims to develop a decision support system (DSS) to model the water resources and their uses, assessing the balance-equilibrium resources needs and analyze the future situation of the water according to different scenarios. It is observed that water use is excessive which reflected by an unmet demand and significant discharges into the canal. Otherwise, comparison between the scenarios elaborated shows a remarkable reduction in water demand and return flows to the river channel Righ. “Trogir Through Time”, an international scientific research project of the Trogir Town Museum, the Institute of Archaeology in Zagreb, and the Austrian Archaeological Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna, included a field survey and the photogrammetric and topographic documentation of nine prehistoric sites in the greater Trogir area (the settlements of Seget Gornji and Bristivica in the municipality of Seget, and Blizna Gornja and Vinišće in the municipality of Marina) in October 2019. It is the area northwest of the Sutilija hillfort and the related enclosures of Velika Gradina and Baturova Gomila in Baradići, and the large hillfort sites Čurkovac above Bristivica with the enclosures of Ćudine and Domazeti in its immediate vicinity, Grad above Blizna Gonja and its related enclosures Brig and Gradina, and Oriješćak near Vinišće. The paper presents the research results with an introduction part describing in detail the earlier state of research.
