COVID-19: Year of the Rat

2020, COVID-19: Year of the Rat

Under the backdrop of tense U.S.-China relations, the virus SARS-CoV-2 began in China, was initially concealed by the Chinese Communist Party, took jetliners to the advanced nations, which were usually unprepared to handle it, with the exceptions of South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and other Asian nations. Even though the USA and its citizens are the largest contributors to world global health, the USA was not prepared, made mistakes, and now faces a grim calculus while opening up the U.S. states. A critical timeline is given for the late December, 2019 to March 11, 2020 period, to contrast and compare the actions and information provided by the CCP, WHO, CDC, White House Coronavirus Task Force, major media covering the early pandemic, Congressional Research Service, China Digital Times and other information sources. The economic and constitutional consequences of the shutdowns and lockdowns are weighed against over 100,000 deaths and future deaths in the COVID-19 pandemic. The overall plan to decide when and how to open up the economies of the 50 U.S. states is provided by the U.S. Constitution, despite pretense to the contrary.
