The purpose of this research is to highlight and analyze the psychological and judicial characteristics of inmates with substance abuse. The prisoners were divided into three groups: inmates with alcohol abuse (n= 30), inmates with drug abuse (n= 30) and inmates without substance abuse (n= 30). They were also divided into two categories: inmates convicted for offenses with violence against persons (n= 48) and inmates convicted for non-violent offenses (n= 42). They completed a structured interview for diagnosing the major depressive episode and a series of psychometric tests for assessing aggression, personality traits, and locus of control. No significant differences between inmates with substance abuse and those without abuse in terms of aggression, nor between those convicted for crimes with violence against the person and those without violence against the person. It was found that there is a positive significant relationship between aggression and feature "Unrestrained" and between Locus of Control and the feature "Unrestrained". Finally, it has been found that there are differences between prisoners without depression regarding the type of offense, namely: prisoners with alcohol and without depression are prone to commit crimes with violence against persons and those with drug abuse, crimes without violence against persons.

Acute appendicitis is the most frequent cause of acute abdomen. In this paper we present the management for diagnosis and treatment according to our experience in this disease. We made a exposure of the clinical forms and we proposed some algorithms for a better aproach of these cases. We performed also a review of the literature.

În articol sunt prezentate caracteristicile adaptării psihosociale și ale componentelor acesteia. Sunt descrise profilurile personalității adolescentului care denotă adaptabilitate și inadaptabilitate, precum și factorii: mitomanie / falsitate, acceptare de sine, neacceptare de sine; acceptarea celorlalți, neacceptarea celorlalți; confort emoțional, disconfort emoțional; control intern, control extern; dominare, supunere; evitarea problemelor.

Scopul proiectarii durabile este gasirea solutiilor constructive, care se reflecta in caracteristicile constructiilor, care sa garanteze pe de o parte bunastarea si pe de alta parte coexistenta celor trei grupuri care alcatuiesc ecosistemul global (elementele anorganice, organismele vii si oamenii). Atingerea scopului proiectarii durabile se face prin educarea intr-un cadru conceptual care are trei niveluri : principii, strategii si metode.

Let G = (V, E) be a finite, simple and undirected graph. The edge-magic total or vertex-magic total labeling of G is a bijection f from V (G) ∪ E(G) onto the set of consecutive integers {1, 2,. .. , |V (G)| + |E(G)|}, such that all the edge weights or vertex weights are equal to a constant, respectively. When all the edge weights or vertex weights are different then the labeling is called edge-antimagic or vertex-antimagic total, respectively. In this paper we provide some classes of graphs that are simultaneously super edge-magic total and super vertex-antimagic total, that is, graphs admitting labeling that has both properties at the same time. We show several results for fans, sun graphs, caterpillars and prisms. c
