Homero CANTO I* Peste -Cólera 17 -¡Atridas y demás aqueos de hermosas grebas!

Teacher candidates in the state of Georgia are now required (fall 2015) to pass a national teacher assessment portfolio known as the education Teacher Performance Assessment (edTPA). This is one of the many requirements (pass GACE content tests, pass GACE ethics assessment, and pass their Education Preparation Provider program’s student teaching requirements) needed to earn their induction certificate to teach in Georgia public schools. This assessment is completed during the student teacher’s clinic experience (student teaching) for a total of three to five lessons or three to five hours of instruction. For mentor teachers to be more supportive of teacher candidates completing the edTPA tasks, they should become familiar with this assessment’s requirement. This article is the first of a two-part series focused on giving physical education mentor teachers insights into the requirements and themes of the edTPA. More specifically, this article provides an overview of the edTPA and discusses ways that mentor teachers can better support teacher candidates during their student teaching semester.

With the fast growth in population in major cities, the number of cars on the road is rising at a similar rate. People prefer private transportation over public transportation, resulting in a rise in automobiles on the road. As a result, finding a vacant parking spot becomes difficult, resulting in several difficulties such as increased consumption of fuel, time, and energy usage. Internet of Things (IoT) has the potential to improve almost every industry. By utilizing IoT and solving challenges such as traffic congestion, limited vehicle parking facilities, and road safety, big cities or metropolitan cities are also on the path to becoming smart cities. In this paper, we using an IOT integrated smart parking system. In this proposed Smart Parking system consists of an on-field deployment of the IOT module that is used to monitor and signalize the state of availability of each single parking space. The mobile app is that it allows the user to check out, parking facilities, and check parking slot availability. At the end of the paper discusses the working of the system in the form of use cases to prove the correctness of the proposed model.
—This paper investigates the potential of using an augmented reality mobile application to teach mobile programming at an undergraduate level and presents the adopted development approach. For the purposes of this study, a mobile application has been developed using open source and free mobile development and augmented reality tools. The application featured a game-based collaborative learning scenario. The application was initially used by a small group of undergraduate students during their " Advanced Mobile Applications " course and the preliminary results were promising.
