This publication shows the results of CO2 laser marking and engraving on plywood and pine materials at different speeds and powers. Plywood and pine materials were marked and engraved with four different speed and seven different power ratios. Marked and engraved line depth was measured for these materials. In this publication used SUNTOP CC-9060 CO2 laser machine and OLYMPUS OLS5000 laser microscope.

Laser engraving machine is used to mark various pictures and symbols on different materials. The laser engraving setup is advantageous due to its low operational cost, lightweight, portability and easy-to-learn features. The paper fabricates a low cost rapid prototype laser engraving machine. The proposed setup has been applied to Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics (GFRP) composites, plastics, wood, cardboard, etc., to yield desired profile, contour, information and various drawings. Moreover, developed laser engraving setup has high precision and processing efficiency. Laser engraving technique involves color change of the surface due to thermal energy emerged by the laser beam. The simulation of this machine is done using Laser GRBL software. A 2.5 W diode laser is used to engrave the various materials. Various advanced software and hardware like Inkscape, MakerBase, GRBL controllers and microcontrollers are assembled together, further leading to the execution of the final engraving. Validity of the machine has been verified by performing dimensional, dependency and co-ordinate tests. Finally, pilot experimentation has been carried out on Cardboard composites.

The objective of thiss project is to develop a solution to custom laser engraving that is user friendly to operate. The proposed solution should also be able to execute its operation within a reasonable amount of time after the user has committed an image to engrave. This project incorporates a variety of different concepts that are found in the industry, such as but not limited to: motor controls, hardware communication, software integration, power systems, and laser control. The laser is a non-traditional device used in many applications because it is a versatile flexibility and cost-effective. In this paper, different laser types of engraving different material were discussed for different fundamental researchers on laser engraving. Laser engraving is very practical to engrave hard and various material by removing part of layer from the surface to a specific depth. The effect of laser parameters such as wavelength, pulse duration, repetition-rate and mode of operation has studied various types of material. Also, the effect of material properties such as optical and physical properties with respect to incident laser radiation was studied. There are many kinds of industrial laser which are used for engraving like, carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, Neodymium-doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Nd: YAG) laser, fiber laser and others. Wood engraving machine is cost effective, exact scaling and can be used in present Modern age also. Here we are working on 2 Degree Wood engraving machine; via this we could engrave any design on wood.

In this paper the fundamental goal is to design and fabricate the laser cutting and engraving machine which is convenient to controlled by the Arduino CNC. It is accessible and perfect utilization for small and medium scale industries. This model is small, simple to work, cost of manufacturing and to effortlessly transport from one work station to other work station.
Now a day's technology is increased in rapid growth the usage and implementation of CNC system in industries and colleges but at greater cost. According to our idea on fabrication of compact and cheap cost CNC Engraver is introduced to reduce complexity, cost and man power. This paper discuss the design and implementation of two dimensional CNC router which can engrave 2D & Gray scaled images or pictures with help of high watt burning laser module on surface which can be a paper, wood, leather, plastic, foam.
This paper describes a variety of fundamental research of laser engraving of Stainless Steel 316 which the authors have recently performed. Laser engraving is machining process where material is engraved by laser process. Laser Engraving is most effective technique in the machining of hard materials and removes the material layer by layer. Basically many types of industrial lasers like, carbon dioxide (CO2) laser and neodymium-doped yttrium Aluminium garnet (Nd: YAG) laser, fiber laser, semiconductor laser which are used for laser engraving process. The aim of the present work to investigate the influence of the process parameters (laser power, scanning speed, and laser frequency) on material removal rate, Engraving depth and surface roughness is experimentally measure. The advent of laser technology in textiles industry has established a new innovative solution, which successfully prevents some of the weaknesses in the conventional technologies. Lasers are being used in Laser Marking (Only the surface of fabric is processed, fading), Laser Engraving (Controlled cutting to depth). It has been used extensively as the replacement of some conventional dry processes like sand blasting, hand sanding, destroying, and grinding etc., which are potentially harmful and disadvantageous for the environment. The article considers some innovative laser technologies, such as marking and engraving on various textile materials. The laser applications for leather and textile processing were analysed. The report overviews systems and ways of laser marking and engraving implementations. Classification of markings was proposed. The advantages of laser marking and engraving technologies in textile fields were pointed.

Nos pusimos en contacto con los líderes de ACS-COT y ATLS para ver cómo podíamos trabajar con ellos para identificar los cambios en la atención de trauma que deberían reflejarse en la 1Q.ª edición de PHTLS.
