And as into life fall from the CO.TRA.L bus into the storm. Water shreds the forests. Every darkness is swollen, a black pulp pushing through prepositionsunder, betweenas a kingdom come. Climb to the light by the wuthering of a TV in another room, random as wrong wiring, wet as electricity, follow shoes in tea, the hairpins, out of the cloud. 2 What is hail more like: barley or polystyrene? Kick it into corners among the oleander; it will keep its own company. Tread on purpose on the lethal tiles, towel, put your pith feet in the window to air. The martins come down from the cliffs of S. Nicolo di Bari, a thousand socks in the wake of the weather. And plastic tables are drawn like a jet across the cobbles to dry. 3 Wipe your chair with a waiter's clout and wait, who is also served. Across the cobbles watch water through watered air. And an embarrassed sun. A dark you can no longer see bows you down at the fosses where your brain is loam, sheds water out of sight. All's well at those wells, you feel, your face untangling storm air and sunlight. Torn hills and phosphates, coffee, dark stuff.

My major goal in this chapter is to characterise an aspect of the relationship between philosophy and lyric poetry. More specifically, it is to give an account of the conditions of the possibility of poetic thought: a mode of thinking in which philosophical contributions are made poetically, and so a mode of thinking in which separating the contents of thoughts from their forms of expression presents difficulties. This provides a way of distinguishing traditional philosophical and poetic thinking: when one encounters the latter, it will be harder to detach what has been said from how it has been said; hence poetic thought will be resistant to paraphrase in a way that traditional philosophy typically isn’t. Yet as I shall argue, this raises problems that will remain intractable unless we reconsider what it can mean to think philosophically.

This study explores the impact of online classes on the lifestyle and academic performance of junior high school students in Cavite, Philippines during the academic year 2023-2024. The Cavite, like many countries, transitioned to online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research the links between online classes and how they affect students' daily routines, habits, and academic performance. The shift to online learning due to pandemic restrictions led to increased screen time, which had a domino effect on students' lives. Findings showed that increased screen time caused a decline in physical activity and changes in sleep patterns (late sleeping or oversleeping). Students often replaced meals with unhealthy snacks or increased portion sizes due to irregular schedules. Most students perceived these lifestyle changes as detrimental, although some found social connection and additional sleep beneficial. These changes led to academic challenges such as increased cheating due to easier access to information and concentration difficulties from distractions at home.

We note a tendency in organizational behavior research to link positive emotions with positive outcomes and negative emotions with negative outcomes. In this Incubator, we argue against this simple association and provide suggestions for researchers to develop interesting lines of enquiry that look beyond simple symmetrical associations.
