INTRODUCTION
An of the instruments necessary for can realize practices in the laboratory is the microscope optical, thanks to are in the actuality is can obtain infinity of study. Is for that the importance the use of microscopy, also them parts that the conform and function of each one .
CONCLUSION
The microscope optical is a instrument of very useful in laboratory for realize practices, besides serves to observe much microorganism presents in some foods and things. But also is indispensable in all the industry for realize analysis.
DESCRIPTION
The microscope optical is the main instrument using in the laboratory, as this helps us to see things we can not see with the naked eye.
This microscope consists of three systems:
Mechanical system: are all parties that support the microscope arm, foot, or support, the car or the platen.
Lighting system: light sources, the capacitor and the mirror.
Optical system: this is constituted by the eye and objectives.
PARTS OF AN OPTICAL MICROSCOPE
Optical system
EYEPIECES: lens located near the eye of the beholder. Lens zoom back in.
OBJECTIVE: lens located near the preparation. Zoom back of it.
CAPACITOR: lens that concentrates the light rays on the preparation.
IRIS: Adjusts the amount of light entering the condenser.
FOCUS: directs the light rays to the condenser.
Mechanical system
HOLDER: Holds the optical part. It has two parts: the foot or base and arm.
PLATE: Place where the preparation is deposited.
HEAD: Contains eyepiece systems. It can be monocular, binocular.
REVOLVER: Contains objective lens systems. It allows, turning, changing lenses.
SCREW FOCUS: Coarse approximating the focus and fine getting the right approach.
USING THE OPTICAL MICROSCOPE
1. Once put the microscope on the desk, it proceeds to remove cover.
2. –it connects the cable of the current.
3. is placed the sample that are you will observe.
4. Is placing the sample of forwards backward, opening the tweezers with care placing the lamina with the sample.
5. Is lights the lights the microscope.
6. - Are accommodated the eyepieces such a way that is can observe the images in a sun field.
7. - The car will move the optical microscope to center the image with the objectives.
8. - To start watching the film, the focus should be placed at number 10, if it is not placed in the correct way, it will be necessary to move the gun to the right or left wing, so that it is in the correct position or appropriate.
10. - With the coarse macrometer up the deck to observe the image.
AFTER USING, THE OPTICAL MICROSCOPE MUST DO THE FOLLOWING.
1. - Turn off the lamp.
2. - The sheet is removed with the sample.
3. - Close the ocular.
4. - Is stage the lowered.
5. Is disconnected the cable wich fed of current to the lamp.
6. Are cleans the microscope with a flannel.
8. - The eyepieces and objectives are cleaned with a solution special (solution wiliam) and cotton.
9. Are placed the cover.
10. In the same position that was removed from the warehouse is delivered.
MAINTENANCE AND PRECAUTIONS
When the microscope is not used, it should be kept covered with her sleeve to avoid soiling and damage the lenses.
Never touch the lens with your hands. If dirty, clean them very gently with filter paper or, better, with a role of optics.
Never force microscope rotating screws (coarse, micrometer, plate, gun and condenser).
The lens shift is turning the gun and always directing her gaze to the preparation to prevent rubbing of the lens with the sample. Never change targets by gripping the tube of the same or do while you are looking through the eyepiece.
Keep dry and clean the microscope stage. If you spill any liquid on it, dry it with a cloth. If oil stain, clean it with a cloth soaked in xylene.
It is advisable to clean and always check microscopes have finished using it.
RECOMMENDED
NO DAMAGE YOUR EYE LENS OR OTHER COMPONENTS OPTICOS
NEVER TAMPER WITH THE CONTROLS OF FOCUS.
NEVER TOUCH THE OPTICAL SURFACES.
