Implementing Computerized Procedures in Office Settings

Since the early 1990s, there has been a steady growth in music business education courses in vocational and higher education. Using a Bourdieusian lens, this thesis explores the suitability and usefulness of music industries education, industry perceptions of music business education, and the appropriate types of skills and knowledge being taught in music business courses in Australia. It combines industry and educator interviews with curriculum analysis to review current industry structures and attitudes to career pathways in light of substantial change. Viewing music business education as a contested “field”, the thesis links individual/collective practices to wider tensions between a “real-world” industry and the discourses and practices of the classroom.

Starting with the initial design phase, the knowledge of the ship manoeuvring performance is an important problem. One of the methods to evaluate the manoeuvring characteristics is based on the time domain simulation of the standard manoeuvring tests. A typical mathematical model that may be used to determine the manoeuvring characteristics of the ships is presented in this paper.

De la restricții stricte asupra mobilității individuale până la suspendarea funcționării unor întregi sectoare ale sistemului sociale (educație, cultură, muncă), oamenii și societățile s-au văzut puși în situația excepțională de se adapta unei urgențe de sănătate publică la nivel global, cu consecințe disruptive fără precedent.

The emergence of CIVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus at the end of 2019 changed the face of the world. Deep consequences are being felt across the whole world at all levels. This opinion piece aims to provide a picture of the Portuguese educational scenario, specifically the impact of COVID 19 in education and government measures to mitigate it, the hindrances and the challenges ahead.
