The Cult of the Lady The term "courtly love" is itself an anachronistic misnomer; it was not coined until the late 19 th century. Further, the literary tradition the term refers to actually consists of several different, though related parts, the most characteristic of which seem never to have been resolutely followed by anyone, at least not for very long, and certainly not very actively or openly. These literary conventions do share certain traits, most notably a rather shocking veneration for the lady-love, which several critics have observed to be nearly religious. In this, they are far more correct than they guess, for the phenomenon referred to as courtly love has its roots in ancient religion, transmitted by way of Celtic mythology and Arthurian romance.

U članku se daje prikaz razvoja pravnih rješenja hrvatskog prava u pitanjima vezanim za smrt, tjelesne ozljede i narušenje zdravlja člana posade kao što su odgovorne osobe, sudska nadležnost, temelj odgovornosti, izravna tužba protiv osiguratelja, te rješavanje sporova mirenjem i arbitražom. Objašnjavaju se razlozi donošenja i formuliranja pojedinih propisa te predlažu rješenja de lege ferenda Članak daje uporedni prikaz hrvatskih propisa i sudske prakse s onima engleske i američke te se zalaže za harmonizaciju hrvatskog pomorskog prava s pravima pomorskopravno razvijenih zemalja.

The paper assesses the effectiveness of commercial banks capital financing in the performance of SMEs in Lusaka district. A structured questionnaire and a semi structured interview guide were used to collect data from 99 randomly sampled SMEs in Lusaka district and 1 purposively sampled respondent from Zambia National Commercial Bank. With the aid of the data analysis tools, the data generated from the respondents were analyzed. Among others, the results of the analysis reveal that SMEs and commercial banks both play an important role in the economic development of a country. The study also reveals that SMEs and commercial banks are highly indifferent to the loans facilities; strict collateral requirements, high interest rates, and the nature of requirements for guarantors dissuade SMEs from accessing loans. Thus, the study concludes that commercial banks capital financing is key to increased production and growth in profits for SMEs. As such, SMEs should be sensitized about the many products and services that Commercial Banks offer. Therefore, this paper recommends that Banks should formulate inclusive policies and programs that can benefit the SMEs, ranging from financial literacy programs, business development programs, business leadership programs, financial markets, trade and investment among others in order for us to have a stable and sustainable business community. This paper also recommends policy reforms to reduce interest rates, collateral and guarantor requirements so as to allow more SMEs access loans and grow their business.

Seguint un eix històric, revisem les perspectives més rellevants amb què s’ha aprofitat la premsa escrita per aprendre llengua en els darrers trenta anys. Recollim les possibilitats didàctiques d’explotació del material periodístic en paper, per reflexionar després sobre la funció, els avantatges i els reptes que planteja avui l’arribada d’Internet a l’aula (i de la premsa i els mitjans de comunicació digitals).
