MFT Sketch 547

Hello to you! I made a cute card for the current MFT Sketch Challenge 547 using the following sketch.

And here is my last-minute take on it:

I created a dimensional shaker base to add plenty of sequins. To not cover too much of the shaker element, I used vellum underneath my image, which was stamped onto a piece of cardstock, colored with Copic markers and fussy-cut before I adhered it. The sentiment is heat-embossed with white embossing powder.

Have a wonderful day everybody, thank you so much for stopping by :)

Center Window Card

Hello! I told you, Alyssa's card made me want to create a center window card, too. So here I am with my first one! Such a fun die to create cute little cards. I'll enter this one to the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 59 and the SSSW Challenge Anything Goes.

Waiting for cooler fall weather made me make this:

The card base and elements are inked with Distress Oxide inks and blended with water. The images are colored with Copics.

The outside is pretty simple, the magic happens inside :)

It won't be my last card using this die! Thank you for stopping by today! (Video of the card in action on Instagram)

Camp Create: Sensational Sliders

I am back with my take on the MFT Camp Create: Sensational Sliders.

I have to say, I spent way too much time on this and it didn't turn out as I had imagined it. Not that easy to realize my ideas :)

Everything is colored with Copics, the background is inked with Distress Oxide inks.

KISS KISS!

I'll be back with my last card for Camp Create very soon. Thank you for stopping by!

Camp Create: Spectacular Shakers

Here comes my take on the MFT Camp Create: Spectacular Shakers.

Because I wanted to have enough space to fill in thicker elements, I made an inside shaker card:

For the front, I used the adorable SY foxes and a big sentiment die-cut from blue cardstock. When opening the card, you'll find this:

Here are the cute mice having a fun party :)
All images are colored with Copics.

I'll share a video of the card in action on Instagram.

Thank you for stopping by!

Birthday Mouse {Shaker Card}

Hi there! Today I am sharing a cute shaker card I made for the new MFT Sketch Challenge and the SSSW Challenge Animal Antics. This is the sketch I followed:

And here comes my take:

I used the Ray of Light Stencil with an ink blending tool on the front of my card, then I created my shaker element, filled it and adhered it. After I had stamped and colored the images, I fussy-cut them and adhered them. The sentiment is heat-embossed with white embossing powder onto a strip of cardstock.

Does it look too girly for a boy? Not sure about this!

Thanks for stopping by today, have a wonderful weekend!

Birdie Shaker Card

Hello! Today I got to play with a new stamp set I bought and enjoyed creating this cute shaker card using the colors from the current MFT Color Challenge.

When I saw the beautiful color combo, I knew I had to make a card with it! Here is what I came up with:

We have a galore of flocks of various birds in our garden this year and it is a pleasure to watch them. So when I saw these adorable MFT birds, I just had to get them! After I had created the shaker box, I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored everything with Copics and fussy-cut them.

And because this card fits, I'll also enter it to the SSS Wednesday Challenge: Clean & Simple.

I hope your day is wonderful! Thanks for stopping by today!

Gift Voucher Double Slider Card

Welcome back! Today I made a cute double slider card hiding a gift card. I wanted a fun way to give this voucher to my girl's best friend. She wished for a drugstore budget - I am happy mine isn't into cosmetics yet :)

Because it fits, I will add this card to the MFT Challenge The Birthday Project. Here is what I came up with:

I used the adorable owls from Stacey Yacula. They are colored with Copics and colored pencils. The background is ink-blended with Distress Oxides.

The sentiment says "for you". In addition to the gift card sliding out of the panel, I made the upper owl slide towards the right edge.

Z-Fold Wintercard

Hey there! I've been enjoying coloring more cute images from Hello Bluebird for the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge and am trying to put them onto cards. Here comes one of them, another interactive z-fold card.

The adorable images are from the Christmas is Coming set and are colored with Copics.

The background is inked with Distress Oxides and an ink blending tool.

Here are more images of the card:

Can you imagine what a fun Christmas party this adorable crew will throw? You can find a video of the card in action on my instagram account!

I am off to color some more. Thanks for stopping by!

Yeti Shadowbox

Happy Monday! This weekend, I had prescribed myself a much needed coloring therapy session. I colored the cute MFT yetis and made a fun shadowbox card with them. Is a yeti an animal? I hope they count, because I'd like to enter this to the current SSS Wednesday Challenge Animal Antics!

Here is my card:

I created the shadowbox from blue cardstock. The images were colored with Copics and die-cut with the matching dies.
Here is a view from above:

I added several snow drifts for more dimension.

I designed the box to be the same size as a normal card when it's folded flat to fit an envelope:

If you'd like to see the card in action, check my instagram account, I'll post a video of it there!

Thanks for visiting!
