
Rodrigo Castelo
Professor at the School of Social Work at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Unirio). PhD and Master by the Post graduate Program in Social Work at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Graduated in Economic Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Member of the Working Group (WG) on Marxist Theory of Dependence (TMD) of the Brazilian Society of Political Economy (SEP). Author of the book The social liberalism (Expressão Popular, 2013), organizer and author of the book The crossroads of Latin America (Pão e Rosas, 2010) and organizer, along with professor Marcelo Paixão, of the book Labour, works´ selfrules and development: writings 1981-2005, by José Ricardo Tauile (Editora da UFRJ, 2009). I have experience in the areas of Political Philosophy and Political Economy, acting mainly on the following themes: State, social classes, ideology and capitalist accumulation.
