This study aims to determine the ability of Elementary School Teacher Education students' in mastering Higher Order Thinking Skills with Problem-Based Learning Model (PBM) which used to support Higher Order Thinking Skills problemoriented situation. The method used in this research is the experimental method. Experiments were used to identify Higher Order Thinking Skills through the application of Problem-Based Learning Model (PBL) with scientific approach to Elementary School Teacher Education students', Faculty of Education, State University of Medan, in the first semester of Study Year 2017/2018. The research design used was Pre-test and Post-test group because the observation was done 2 times before experiment (O1 / pre-test) and after experiment (O2 / post-test). Based on the results obtained, in the control class using the lecture method obtained by the data with the average learning outcomes 79.08 while with the model of Problem Based Learning with the Scientific Approach obtained by the average data learning outcome is 83.03. Based on the data, it is found that Fcount> Ftable is 6.53> 2.67 then Ho is rejected and it can be concluded that there are significant differences in the implementation of Problem-Based Learning model with scientific approach in increasing Higher Order Thinking Skills.

AbstrakPengembangan Bangun Industri Desa (BID) oleh PT. Pertamina (Persero) MOR I - TBBM Teluk Kabung memfokuskan pada peningkatan daya saing bisnis hasil olahan laut terutama ikan dan kerang yang dihasilkan oleh masyarakat nelayan di Teluk Kabung Utara. Studi ini menganalisis secara kualitatif mengenai capaian dari pelaksanaan CSR dalam mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya pemahaman dan kemampuan nelayan dalam melakukan bisnis perikanan. Bisnis ini mempunyai peluang besar dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat nelayan. Learning in the 21st century is inseparable from the influence of digital technology. Learning listening of fairy tale with conventional method (teachers read a fairy tale in front of the class) is no longer suitable to be applied for the students in this digital era, so that a new breakthrough in the use of learning media is needed. Learning listening of fairy tale by using an audio visual media can be one of alternatives used by teachers. Research used an audio visual media in learning listening of fairy tale was conducted in SDN 6 Singaparna. Research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The enthusiasm of students in learning listening of fairy tale by using audio visual media is better than learning listening of fairy tale read by the teacher. This is seen from the average score of listening ability of student's fairy tales. The average listening ability of student's fairy tale using audio visual media is 84,53, while the average listening ability of student's fairy tale before the research was 67,20. In addition to making the average listening ability of student's fairy tale increased was by the use of audio visual media that also made students more active in the learning process. This is seen when the teacher asked a few questions when the fairy tale has been played, most students responded well to the questions given by the teacher.

The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials using the discovery learning model to improve thematic learning outcomes in elementary schools. This research aims to develop thematic teaching materials based on the discovery learning model for fourth grade students of elementary school and to describe the feasibility of thematic teaching materials products based on the discovery learning model. ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving dengan model pembelajaran Everyone Is A Teacher Here pada tema organ gerak hewan dan manusia subtema organ gerak hewan pembelajaran 1 dan 2 kelas V SD Negeri 060877 Medan perjuangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan sampel dalam adalah seluruh kelas V SD Negeri 060877 Medan Perjuangan, yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas VA (kelas eksperimen 1) sejumlah 30 orang siswa dan VB (kelas eksperimen 2) sejumlah 30 orang siswa. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of authentic assessments based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the Medan Elementary School. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The method used is 2, namely descriptive and evaluative methods. The results showed that the average teacher competency level in implementing HOTS-based authentic assessments in Medan city elementary school was 74.81% in the Enough category. Thus, the implementation of HOTS-based authentic assessments mandated by the 2013 curriculum can be realized effectively in the SD city of Medan in the future. Communication is an important requirement in order to adapt to the broad social environment in the 21st century. One of the efforts made is the use of two languages (bilingual) in everyday life. However, parents unconsciously put children into a world with language development tasks that are more complex than the competencies that children should have. This of course will affect social development and children's ability to interact with the environment. This study analyzes the use of bilinguals in terms of children's social competence and social behavior. The balance between fine and gross motor skills of children is important to be optimally stimulated. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of nature-based learning models in improving children's motor skills. This study used a quantitative method with a subject of 45 children aged 4-5 years in 3 kindergartens in Sleman Regency. The study design used one group pretest posttest with 3 treatments each. Data collection techniques using observations and interviews were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and the effectiveness was analyzed using the T test. The results showed that nature-based learning effectively increases motor skills because by using the five senses, children have learning experiences through play, according to age needs, using objects concrete, up to challenging activities. Basically, children like all things related to the experiment, exploration, and experience that is manifested in the child's interest in science. In supporting and promoting the interests of science in children, teachers and parents are the main facilitator of the most children need. However, the teacher considers the practice of science in learning as something complicated, boring, costly, and require a long time. It effects too much misunderstanding in the practice of children science learning. Finally, the teacher only using classical methods in the teaching of science to the children such as drawing, coloring, or mix colors. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the scaffolding as a strategy to increase children's interest in science. This study uses quantitative methods were performed on 15 children and 8 teachers kindergarten class B in Yogyakarta. The data is obtained by using observations of teachers in introducing the strategy of science to the children. This study used pre-test and posttest that will analyzed by using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study showed that the scaffolding effectively improve children's interest in science of 41.6%. Scaffolding is done in the form of strategy such as making authentic connections, providing new exposure, motivating children to be responsible, and supervise children. However, all the scaffolding must be used continuously to keep the child's interest in science until the child has the initiative way to solve their problem without the others.

Motor activity using coordinated movement of the body is one of the factors to improve cognitive development in children. However, children still need activities related to fine motor to balance the motor functions, one of them by playing. When children are playing, they often stop the game due to fear of dirty. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis, mengembangkan, dan menguji efektifitas dari model pembelajaran Natural Messy Play dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetik anak usai 4-5 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis research and development dengan subjek uji coba sebanyak 120 orang anak usia 4-5 tahun se-Kabupaten Sleman. Regulasi emosi merupakan bagian dari kompetensi emosi yang perlu dimiliki anak sesuai dengan tugas perkembangannya. Fase badai dan stres menjadi tantangan bagi anak untuk memiliki kompetensi ini. Regulasi emosi didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan untuk mengatur emosi. Berbagai upaya intervensi telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan regulasi emosi, seperti pelatihan regulasi emosi. Namun implementasi pelatihan regulasi emosi yang ada belum optimal dan perlu dievaluasi, terutama pada fase anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis pelatihan regulasi emosi saat ini dan mengembangkan pelatihan regulasi emosi sebagai intervensi alternatif untuk meningkatkan regulasi emosi pada anak. Kajian pustaka dengan analisis isi yang relevan digunakan sebagai metode penelitian. Hasil penelitian berupa kerangka konseptual pelatihan regulasi emosi pada anak berupa topik: (1) Pengenalan Emosi, (2) Penerimaan Emosi, (3) Penetapan Tujuan, dan (4) Regulasi Emosi. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi peneliti selanjutnya dalam mengembangkan regulasi emosi pada anak.

The culinary business today is one of the most sought-after business alternatives in Depok. This can be seen that out of 1000 business actors in Depok in 2018, most of them are doing business in the culinary sector. Because the development of the culinary business is increasing rapidly, culinary entrepreneurs, especially women, need various information related to this business. This study aims to find out the communication channels used by women culinary entrepreneurs in Depok to meet their information needs. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample was chosen using a purposive sampling technique based on the characteristics of women who have culinary business, both online and offline.
