According to the report of World Economics Forum (www.weforum.org) the preferred competencies of the labour market are constantly changing: a prognosis from 2018 says that the five most important skills will be analytical thinking, innovation, active learning, creativity and critical thinking in 2022. Now this date is not so far from our everyday life. Parallel to this it is also a fact that the traditional methods are not suitable enough to teach the Z generation or even to make them more attentive or motivated. The diverse methods of information technology have already spread into the university education and a pedagogical paradigm shift can be perceived (Prievara, 2018). The latest methods, like project method, e-learning, BYOD, gamification, MOOC, are available in higher education as well, although it is a question how much the teachers apply these methods in their teaching process. The new techniques not only make the students more motivated but also (Lin, et.al., 2017) they enhance them with those sorts of skills that are indispensable to be successful in the field of labour. The research was aimed to find answers how much the engineer students are satisfied with the training they are given in accordance with their future profession, what kind of attitude they have towards their prospective occupation. The international research was carried out amongst engineer students in four countries in the spring of 2019. In the Hungarian pilot survey, 65 students (mechanical engineers and computer science engineers) were involved studying on the third and fourth grade. The most important factors to choose the university are: after taking the degree it is easy to find a job (73%), interests in technology (67%), the costs of studies (64%)-while the prestige of the university was not among the most important aspects (45%). Regarding the quality of the training, students find significant the factors that are closely connected to their future jobs (gain good work experience during the internship (77%), connection between university training and real professional knowledge (73%), access to modern technology in the university (78%). However, up-to-date factors, such as access to MOOC (41%), access to Erasmus programs (41%), and participation in dual training (53%), have less important for students. More than 70% of students do not regret at all their choice to become an engineer. Evaluating their future career priorities, students consider the most important to practice their learned job (work in their profession (78%), have chances to use their skills and talent (76%), financial reward (high wages (76%), and good work environment (friendly atmosphere (86%), work-life balance (83%).

However, traditional teaching methods and attitudes of employers are not suitable enough to motivate generation Z. The research was aimed to find answers how much engineer students are satisfied with the training in accordance with their future profession, and what attitude they have towards their prospective occupation. The international questionnaire research was carried out amongst engineer students of a Hungarian and a Russian university in the spring of 2019. Based on the results, it can be stated that several differences can be found between the opinions of the two subsamples.

The flow of information has also altered a lot both at institutional level and at home, too. Mobile-tools ensure immediate access to all kinds of information as well. Teachers need to face with loads of challenges. Usage of BYOD-method could be an alternative solution for broadening e-learning environment in schools. Hereby Hungarian teachers’ opinion about using mobile devices for educational purposes will be presented. A paper based and an online questionnaire were used as research methods. The sample is nationwide, nevertheless, it is not a representative one it rather provides an exciting overview of teachers’ attitude in connection with mobile devices before and during COVID-19 pandemic situation.

According to Kristóf Nyíri (academic professional MTA) it is reflectedeven in 2018on the one hand that in the konwledge society lifelong learning (LLL) is compulsory and educating people besides working at the same time, and on the other hand the Internet is supposed to be the usual and natural way of everyday orientation and administration/communication (Nyíri, 2003). The teacher would like to join the new society of knowledge even during the lessons or outside of it as the interferer of science, art, languages etc. In the latest decades the role of teachers (at all levels of education) has been going on tremendous changes parallel with the institution of Hungarian education. The roles had to adjust to these changes and expectations. In my study I would like to highlight the role/s of teachers while using blended/mixed-learning method in-, and outside the classroom especially in university eductaion focusing on language teaching.

The preferred competencies of the labour market are constantly altering: a prognosis from 2018 says that the five most important skills will be analytical thinking, innovation, active learning, creativity, and critical thinking in 2022.
