Understanding that Performative Theater would be this place between the theater and the performance, where one realizes on the other the germination ability. It’s the intention to introduce this artist and use as a basis of study his works The Power of Theatrical Madness (1984 – 2012), and Mount Olympus (a twenty four-hours performance – 2015) and also his head office, the Troubleyn / Laboratorium. From the title of this work, I walk into the dossier idea as a kind of documents collection or a short file, that carries some subject for analysis. This way, I intend to dismember the features of Jan Fabre’s artwork. However these are specifics works, its critical analysis turns out to reveal Fabre’s modus operandi as a whole. Here is an attempt to translate Fabre and his works, not only with regard to the language, but to translate what comes from pictures, videos and searches. It´s a translation of information I receive and interviews I´ve done throughout my journey. It´s also a translation of what I feel, I realize and assimilate through these constant dialogues with Troubleyn.

Jan Fabre: metamorphosis of the body/pain A methodological path
ABSTRACT
In character of an essay, I bring into light the exposure of my investigative choices as recent researcher on a master's degree program in theater. Through "The Power of Theatrical Madness", artwork directed by Jan Fabre, I wonder about apprehensions of the director's hybrid work and discuss the methodological results that came through it. The purpose of this paper is to reflect about the investigative path, deviations that methodological choices may suffer and the metamorphosis that just as artistic work, the act of searching also suffers. At the end, I report to the desire to understand the pain in the arts, taking into account the work of Jan Fabre, my body and my research. Less than the expression of a number of conclusions, this essay is rather the enunciation of a research project on the body arts.
