O. Masson’s contributions to the study of the Cypro-Minoan script include, among other contributions, an aggregation of all known Cypro-Minoan inscriptions and the first tentative division of Cypro-Minoan into multiple scripts. His contribution to the field is significant and deserving of renewed attention. The article that follows assesses O. Masson’s contributions to the study of Cypro-Minoan, taking his treatment of single-signed inscribed objects as the center of discussion. Two examples of single-signed inscribed objects are discussed in-depth, Cypro-Minoan potmarks and seals.
