the progress of edu... more Learning assessment has always been a cause of reflection, because it affects the progress of educational systems. At present, with the boom of emerging technologies, new teaching and learning modalities have come up: semiattendance or blended learning and virtual learning. These new modalities promote new ways of learning that should be implemented at the university with the construction of the university 2.D, which uses all the tools that technology can offer. This article aims to present the different types of learning being developed within virtual environments by showing the importance that information technologies are gaining for creating new dilemmas on their evaluation in areas where collaborative and immersive learning stimulate new ways of teaching and learning in higher education. It is framed within the lines of investigation in the department of Measurement and Evaluation, Faculty of Education at the University of Carabobo (Venezuela), under the theme of information technology as a support and educational support.
