The paper offers a brief insight into Globalization effects on Arabic as scientific language. It first depicts the relationships between translation, sciences and globalization, then, considers scientific terms dissemination in the Arab World. Moreover, it tackles some of the problems encountered when translating, into arabic, scientific terminology related to genetics field.

Cet article met en lumière le discours scientifique véhiculé par les médias en général et par les revues de vulgarisation en particulier. C'est une situation où l'information scientifique, notamment médicale n'est pas livrée simplement pour informer, mais pour ce qu'elle peut apporter à des questions sociales ou publiques non exclusivement scientifiques. À la suite d'une présentation brève des caractéristiques de ce discours, nous allons exposer quelques difficultés que pourrait poser la traduction de ses composantes vers la langue arabe, à savoir le discours imagé et la terminologie spécialisée.

Bu durumda, bilimsel bilginin, özellikle de sağlık sektöründe, yalnızca bilgilendirme amaçlı değil, aynı zamanda da salt bilimsel olmayan toplumsal ve kamusal sorunlara da yanıt aranmaktadır. Bu söylemin özelliklerini kısa bir sunumla anlattıktan sonra, bahsettiğimiz bileşenlerin Arapçaya çeviride özellikle görsel söylem ve özel terimce açısından çıkartabileceği bazı zorlukları ortaya koyacağız.

Making scientific content and research accessible, meaningful and relevant to readers through popularization strategies is highlighted in the study of cognitive-emotive interactions in discourses published in the media. The argumentative emotional features or “pathemes” that modulate scientific dis- courses are widely used in order to attract the target audience as well as to facilitate access to scientific knowledge. Such strategies and the interaction between emotion and cognition in discourse are thoroughly identified, studied and analyzed.
In this paper, we intend to re-define the popularization of science through media as a means of communi- cation, highlighting thus the bond between cognition and emotion. This latter helps us to show the emotional orientation used in Scientific American magazine to transfer scientific information and to keep a wider range of readers. Nowadays, it is common that emotions accompany and carry information; they are also involved in the interpretation of the carried information. Thus, in the science in media context, the transmission of information takes place first at the emotional level, especially if the receivers do not feel concerned by the transmitted scientific information.

Nous cherchons à montrer les avantages que peut avoir l'approche d’intégration et les difficultés qui en résultent. Après avoir examiné différents manuels d’ALE intégrant le dialecte, nous tachons de répondre aux questions suivantes :
- L’intégration du dialecte à l’enseignement de l’arabe littéral, rend-elle l’enseignement plus complexe ? 
- L’appropriation des savoirs devient-elle plus difficile ?
- L’enseignement parallèle des deux aspects de la langue peut-il être complet ? Quel(s) manque(s) ou perte(s) au niveau des connaissances et savoirs transmis ?

China, nowadays, recommends Near East countries’ participation in building ‘The New Silk Road’ which forms an economic openness and a communication route. Some consider the Sino-Arab rapprochement as a stimulating opportunity that triggers the Arab World’s development despite the fact that China is stepping forward economically and Arab countries are still subsisting under the political and economic tensions and troubles.

As for us, we are concerned with linguistic and cultural exchanges among the two parties. This openness towards the other creates an evident need to communicate which is remarkably manifested through learning languages and having recourse to translation. In Arab countries, Chinese students seek to learn Arabic and develop their translation skills. Therefore, Arab universities offer courses in Negotiation and International Commerce reinforced by learning Chinese while Arabs reiterate their visits, to China, for touristic and commercial purposes. This is the exchanges’ situation nowadays, a situation which worth considering and studying.

Accordingly, this paper proposes observing two groups of learners who represent this reality: Chinese learners acquiring Arabic and Lebanese learners acquiring Chinese. By shedding the light on their practices, interests, difficulties and objectives, this study permits to better understand the position of a society in regard to another and accentuate the cultural adaptation lived by these learners. Consequently, it is a leading thread for future translation studies; moreover, it permits to better anchor the linguistic and cultural Sino-Arab transfer, relying on the essence of the process of translation i.e. learning a foreign language.

This paper aims to study the translation into French and Arabic of a novel by Andrea Camilleri, Il cane di terracotta, which is both unique and complex; The simplicity of the discourse and the spontaneity of communication reinforce the sociocultural context and present a major challenge for translators in their endeavors to recreate the feeling this novel triggers in Italian readers. It also highlights the constraints that arise in terms of linguistic transfer in the shadow of a clear register variation.
