Got dots? The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday!

Yes, I know it's Monday, not Friday. Okay, almost midnight on Monday. I've been really busy studying for a very big exam. So, sorry I've been MIA.

However, you still have until Wednesday to submit your entries over at The Greeting Farm's Farm Fresh Friday DOTTY SPOTTY challenge!!! TGF will be awarding your choice of 3 Ian stamps this week. So get your dot on! Sorry I am really tired.

I apologize for the kind of dark pics. I had to tone down the flash so the metallic would stop reflecting.

Hope everyone is enjoying these last days of June!

[click pics for larger view]
Stamps: The Greeting Farm-*new* Oh, Baby, Lucky Bunnies, and Wild Things

The Greeting Farm is now hosting:
'Farm Fresh Friday' Challenges!!

Today's challenge is to use 3 stamps!! Read the rules over at the blog here. Entries are due Wednesday, June 24th.And, again, you really should participate because TGF is awarding 3 Anya stamps of your choice!!!

My flower card was inspired by the incredibly talented Kadie!
For these projects I used the adorable baby image from the newly released 'Oh Baby' stamp set!
The flower bonnet is just too cute!!
For those of you wondering, the sparkles on both these projects is TA's glimmer mist in the LE color Snow Angel. It's pink, but goes on almost clear, with tons of sparkle!

And for all you Unity Hip Hopper's, my HHH post is below!

New Releases at The Greeting Farm!

Happy Monday everyone!! Today The Greeting Farm has 4 new releases!! The store is experiencing some technical issues, but you can purchase the new stamps HERE!

This is the newly released Superstar Anya! Aren't her glasses the best?!

I made this card during our Club Anya party over at PCP, where we all partied like rockstars! Well, some of us. I had to go to bed early. :o(

Also, I only used ONE LAYER of cardstock for this card. Don't forget about the "No Layers Challenge" over at The Greeting Farm. You have until Wednesday to submit your entries to TGF. If the Galleria is still experiencing issues you can email them to Marie!

If you haven't yet, be sure to join Club Anya and TGF's groups over at Papercraftplanet.com. Lots of fun over there!

Starving Artistamps' Challenge!

Starving Artistamps is hosting a Van Gogh challenge in conjuction with Technique Junkies.
It was really fun experimenting with this technique. There are some really great entries over at the Starving Artistamps blog. Be sure to check them out!
My card originally had more dots and texture, but it didn't look artsy enough to me, so I dripped some of my Copic Refill inks on it. I love the effect, unfortunately it blended most of my dot accents. So, I remembered the trick Marianne taught us at Copic certification and I got a old rag and squirted it with my Copic Colorless Blender refill and blotted directly on to my image. Maybe, not entirely Van Gogh style, but maybe Van Gogh if he owned Copics?? ;o)
The stamped images I used are from the Starving Artistamps Doodle Factory line and it's called Halloween II. The little tree silhouette is here. Love this line!!

A Challenging Challenge!! A TGF Prize!

Head over to The Greeting Farm for the latest, No Layers Challenge!
You really don't want to miss this one, because TGF will award one prize of:
3 stamp sets of your choice!!!
How awesome is that?!
Here's my example of a NO LAYERS card.
I stamped my main image first, then masked it (stamped the same image a second time on some scratch paper, cut it out leaving about 1/8" around the image, and placed it over the image on my card) and then stamped my background images. I used a Copic Marker in BV000 Iridescent Mauve to shade around the image (this is why I left a 1/8" buffer) to make it stand out a little.

Stamps: The Greeting Farm- Snuggle *new realease*, Lucky Bunnies, and Sweet Deal.
Punch: Fiskars Border Punch Threading Water
Stickles: Lavender
Flowers: Prima
Copic Markers: Skin/Eoo, E33, R20 Hair/ E17, E11, E29 Dress/V15, V17, Y00, Y21 Bunny/BG11, BG72

It's Friday Already!?!?!

My submission for the "I wanna be just like...CAZ" challenge over at Club Anya last weekend. We CASE'd a card by the talented Caz.

I never did post all the details. So here they are:

Stamps: The Greeting Farm: Mermaid Anya, Sweet Deal (butterfly)
Paper: Basic Gray, K&Co Que Sera Sera
Flowers/Bling: Prima
Punches: Marvy Hearts
Copic Markers: E00, E33, R20, BG11, Bg15, V12, V06, G000, G12, G85

Behind Anya is a paper coaster from Eclectic Paperie. These are perfect for spritzing with Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist. I sprayed the whole coaster first with Mimosa and Tattered Rose, and then used a TA Glimmer Screen over the coaster and sprayed again with the Blue Skies and Purple Pansy. Tip, they do warp, so be careful not to over saturate them and while they are slightly damp, stick them under some heavy books to straighten them out.

The coasters are super reasonable (79-89 cents for a pack of 10) and I'm currently working on a little card book I made with 6 of them and my Crop-a-dile. What a bargain. They'd probably work great for banners, too!

**Make sure you participate in THE GREETING FARM'S Black N' White Sketch Challenge!! Marie has a wonderful sketch and a wonderful prize!!**
