Jigsaw puzzles are a strange game invented by humans, in which they take a picture broken into many pieces and attempt to reassemble it. Silly humans! If you wanted the picture intact, why did you break it in the first place?

These puzzles can keep humans distracted for hours. It's lucky Megatron hasn't discovered this fact, or his takeover of Earth would be made simple by an aerial drop of uncompleted jigsaw puzzles.

The Transformers

  • Transformers 3D Jigsaw Stand Up puzzles (1984)
A series of puzzles by Warren. These puzzles could be assembled into flat 2D puzzles or 3D transformers. The 3D modes of these puzzles could be transformed between vehicle mode, and robot mode. Puzzles included Optimus Prime, Bluestreak, Ultra Magnus, and Starscream.
  • Kabaya Jigsaw Puzzle (1985?)
  • Milton Bradley (1986)
100-piece-puzzles distributed by Milton Bradley in Europe featuring original artwork reminiscent of toy box art.
  • Ultra Magnus and Metroplex - Ultra Magnus in robot mode and Metroplex in battle station mode fighting Blitzwing in jet mode and Astrotrain in space shuttle mode
  • Bruticus - Bruticus fighting Sandstorm in both robot and helicopter mode and Springer in helicopter mode.
  • Galvatron and Defensor - Galvatron is fired upon by Defensor while Springer transforms to robot mode. Above, two Cyclonuses fire upon an Aerialbot.
  • Ultra Magnus - a portrait piece featuring Ultra Magnus amidst various explosions. Rad!
  • Megatron - a portait piece showing Megatron being fired upon.
  • Galvatron - a portrait puzzle depicting Galvatron being fired upon by Springer in helicopter mode. Reuses art from the landscape Galvatron battle puzzle.
  • Arrow Puzzles (1986)
Quite possibly MB under a different (regional?) name, Arrow also produced Transformers jigsaws in Europe.
  • "Transformers" - The 1984 box back art slightly cropped and cut into 100 irregular pieces.
  • Grimlock - cropped from the 1986 box back battle art, puzzle shows Grimlock in space, fighting Insecticons, while a red Tracks makes a cheeky corner cameo. Available in 100 and 200 piece versions, the latter branded MB.
  • Megatron - painted by Nick Shewring, this approximately 200 piece puzzle depicts a toy accurate Megatron fighting Prowl, while Snarl transforms to robot mode behind him to shoot him in the hip. Two Topspins fly through the air to also fire on Megatron.

  • Optimus Prime puzzle with Robot Hero (2008)
This 100pc, 10" by 13", Milton Bradley-branded puzzle comes with a Robot Heroes Generation 1 Optimus Prime securely bound to the top of the box. The puzzle itself features a reused Pat Lee (*shudders*) piece, specifically the cover of Prime Directive trade-paperback featuring Prime, Bumblebee and Cosmos posing while Megatron scowls in the background.
A similar Star Wars themed puzzle featuring an Obi-Wan Kenobi Galactic Hero was also available.

Beast Wars II

  • Beast Wars Special 300 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle — Convoy & Lio Convoy (1998)
Released for the Beast Wars Special Super Lifeform Transformers theater-release "movie", this 300 piece puzzle features art of Convoy, Lio Convoy, and Magnaboss in front of Majin Zarak. This puzzle included an exclusive version of Lio Junior in white
  • Beast Wars Special 300 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle — Enter the Transmetals (1998)
Another tie in release for Beast Wars Special Super Lifeform Transformers, this puzzle shows a collage of screen shots of Transmetal Megatron in beast and robot mode, Tarantulas, Optimus Primal, Cheetor, and Rattrap in beast modes, as well as Silverbolt and Quickstrike. It also includes an exclusive black and red version of Lio Junior.
  • Beast Wars Metals 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle - Convoy Transformation (1999)
The final tie in puzzle released, this puzzle again featured a collage of screenshots, this time from season season three. Included are Optimal Optimus in robot and jet mode, Blackarachinia, Silverbolt, Rhinox, Tarantulas, Rattrap, Cheetor in flight mode, Depth Charge, Megatron in beast mode, Quickstrike, and three cyber raptors. This puzzle came with an exclusive white and orange version of Transmetal Rattrap.

This bagged puzzle, created by Milton Bradley, features Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Grimlock, and Strafe in a fantasy situation, with Prime riding Grimlock and Bumblebee riding Strafe.
  • Mini-Puzzle (2014)
This 50 piece, 5 by 7 inch puzzle from Cardinal Games comes packed inside its own metal tin. The puzzle itself depicts Movie-verse Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.
  • Puzzle (2014)
These are a series of four 48 piece, 9.1 by 10.3 inch puzzles produced by Cardinal Games. Two puzzles depict a solo Optimus Prime (one seemingly in armor, and one without armor), while a third depicts a solo Bumblebee and a fourth depicts both Prime and Bee simultaneously.
  • Super 3D Puzzle (2014)
This puzzle is 150 pieces and measures 18 inches by 12 inches when completed. Milton Bradley's logo is on front, but the corporate information for Cardinal Games is located on the bottom of the box. The puzzle features Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Bumblebee, and Strafe. The front of the box features a lenticular 3D piece which depicts the former two.
  • 3 Puzzle Set (2014)
Another co-branded Milton Bradley / Cardinal Games offering, this is a set of three puzzles, each one measuring 9.1 inches by 10.3 inches and sold in a large tin. One puzzle depicts Optimus Prime, the second puzzle depicts Bumblebee, and the third puzzle depicts Grimlock.

This Milton Bradley / Cardinal Games joint offering is a 10.375 inch by 9.125 inch puzzle depicting Bumblebee and Strafe. Of note is that the top of the box is also a handle.

Released to advertise Beast Wars' airing in Japan, this small, hand-held slide-puzzle features a manga style drawing of Optimus Primal in robot mode, brandishing a sword, one arm cannon deployed, and looking very dynamic.
