Fairmaestro

Fairmaestro is a human from the EarthSpark continuity family.

Fairmaestro is a curiosities tent owner who peddles illegally acquired objects. Arrogant and supremely confident in his own abilities, he has a flair for the dramatic and exceptional skill in illusions and technology masquerading as magic. As well as collecting strange and unusual artifacts, he's not above capturing and enslaving living beings to use in his fairground attractions.

Using a restraining bolt, Fairmaestro successfully captured the Autobot Cosmos and turned him into a fairground ride called Cosmic Thunder. Sometime later, he set up his various attractions as part of a school carnival at Witwicky. He met with Swindle in the dead of night to offer the Decepticon a scatter blaster in exchange for Cybertronian tech, but shut down the exchange when Swindle tried to swindle him.

Mo, Twitch and Thrash encountered the Fairmaestro while visiting the fair, and while checking out his tent, realized he had an Emberstone shard. Their first attempt to steal it resulted in Fairmaestro slapping restraining bolts on the two Terrans and trapping Mo in a force field. Escaping, they pursued Fairmaestro who took control of Cosmic Thunder and took to the skies until the kids cyber-synced for the first time and successfully took out the ride's restraining bolt, freeing Cosmos who ejected the villain. Cosmos caught Fairmaestro before he hit the ground and Agent Schloder briefly arrested him before he disappeared in a puff of smoke. The Butterfly Effect

Fairmaestro swore revenge on the Maltos, setting up an escape room in an empty Witwicky warehouse before sending invitations to the Malto kids. The kids successfully worked their way through all of the challenges set, until Twitch arrived alone at the end, and Fairmaestro revealed that because she'd helped all of the others with their challenges, their victories were null and void under the rules they'd agreed to and the other Maltos had become part of a fair ride. Nightshade provided an out, pointing out that under the Fairmaestro's rules, the competition was nullified if the tickets were destroyed, and Twitch shredded the tickets. Fairmaestro offered them another turn in the escape room, but Twitch made a counteroffer: she'd become a fairground ride if Fairmaestro could complete the challenges himself. Fairmaestro agreed, confident he could overcome his own game fixing, but immediately ran afoul in the first challenge. The Great Escape
