Bubble Bobble |

Developer: Taito This game has a hidden developer message. This game has a Data Crystal page |
A rather fun Bubble Bobble game for the Game Boy.
Sound Test
The password system of this game has a secret flag. The passwords generated with this flag has a special purpose and a different decoding method. One of such passwords enables a Sound Test.
At the password screen enter FPSX, a message "POWER UP!" will flash instead of "OK" with a different sound. Exit from the password screen to enter a Sound Test.
Press A to play a tune. Selection with index 00 is used for mute all channels. Selections with indexes 01 to 04 mutes one of the four Game Boy sound channels respectively. The actual game music starts from index 05.
Developer Text
There's a handful of developer text scattered around the ROM in mostly Kunrei-formatted Romaji. If you know your Japanese and wonder why the text transcribes inconsistently... well, that's because this also uses Hepburn and Kunrei interchangeably.
