Hellooooo Alll!!!

It is November! NOVEMBER!!! Reallyy???!! This year was fast...whoa!
Oh wait!
It is time for another CAS Challenge at STAMPlorations as we have a new month! :)

As always, we have anything CAS goes but this time we have an optional color- Purple.
Well, you all must know, purple is my favorite color. I LOVE it! That's why I have purple all over my blog. I have a lot of purple dresses as well as lots of purple colored cards. Now, this got me thinking, I don't have purple shoes, I should get them and sooonnnnn! :P

This card is inspired by Heather Hoffman- a brilliant and genius lady from the House Built of Cards. Her cards have a story, would love it if you check it there. :)

For the card, I sponged the background and sprintzed water over it.
The flower stamp is from STAMPlorations- Smile (Dee's Artsy Impressions) set which I stamped using pigment ink over the black panel. The sentiment is from STAMPlorations- Balloons and Banners.  Easy?

Find out what my amazing teamies have created HERE on STAMPlorations blog. Would love it if you leave some love on their blogs too. :)

I am entering this card for

ATSM #209- Anything Goes

Heyyaaa Dear Friends!! :)

This week we have Anything CAS Goes at Addicted to Stamps and More #209 !

and Sponsor is

I made this card for you all!

Here you go- a new card with a NBUS stamp and a new to me technique (I have also used a new color scheme here)! ;)

I used Altenew stamp- wild hibiscus. Though I have used this set before, this particular stamp was never put to use. I think Darnell's NBUS Challenge gives us a good chance to bring such stamps into action. I have also used a new teal color pigment ink.

The sentiment stamp is from My Favorite Things- Adorable Elephant stamp set. I added hints of cream color on the edges.

I am playing along-

My Favorite Things - Color Challenge

NBUS # 7 by Darnell K - Used the NBU stamp from this Altenew stamp set. Also the teal colored pigment ink

AAA Cards - New to you technique - Offset stamping

Thank u so much for stopping by- find out what my wonderful teamies have created on the ATSM blog!

Playing with water and colors!

Heyyaaaa Dear Stampers!! Happy Friday to you all! :)

This is my other card! You remember , right? I had shared sneak peek of it in my last post! Well, here it is!

For the card, I smooshed the background using distress inks - mustard seed, peacock feathers and picked raspberry. Later, I adhered a colorful strip patterned paper. The flowers are from STAMPlorations- Bloom sketches. I stamped them using Black soot DI and shaded with grey colored water colors. :)

I am entering this card for-

Lawnscaping Challenge - Watercoloring. I have used grey colored water color to color those flowers and using distress ink for smooshing.

I was inspired by the smooshed watercolored background and black colored sentiment over it. :)

I love U 2 ! ;)

Heyyaaa Sweet Crafters!! :)

While I can see pretty Christmas cards floating through-out our blog-land..I thought why not make 1-2 cards more before starting my Christmas ones? :)

My first card is a black and white with a tinge of gold!

For the card, I stamped flowers from STAMPlorations - Blooms sketches and Fiskars- Petals from scratch stamp set. I used jet black archival ink. I used Rangers gold embossing powder and versa mark to heat emboss the sentiment. I also added golden color to the petals! :)

I am entering this card for Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge - Gilding

and
My second card is inspired by this month's Time Out#44 Guest Designer Karen.
Look at her gorgeous card!! I loved the sketch and doesn't that stenciling look just perfect ?? :)

My second card is here:

For this card, I inverted the sketch of Karen's card and did loads of  masking for it! :P I used the STAMPlorations- Bloom sketches and Bo Bunny- It is written stamp set. I used 3 different shades of yellow distress ink to color the flowers and leaves. The sentiment is heat embossed using gold embossing powder from Ranger.

Also, I am entering both of the cards for
STAMPlorations Anything Goes

Crafters hardly find time for anything, but still that's the one thing we all manage to find time for! I have a time saving hack for you ladies..as Christmas is just around the corner, you may not find enough time ..So, you can use one black card stock and make a sheet for heat embossed sentiment like this. It helps, really! (and if you already know what kind of cards you are gonna make, then this one is a life -saver ) I have made this sheet using white and gold embossing powder. :)

Hope you liked my CAS cards!

Enjoy! :)

Dreamy Background

Heyyaaaa Lovely Crafters!! :)

I am bringing before you the card I made yesterday..

That's the dreamy background I am talking about.. I sprinkled water on the stamp before stamping on the card base to make that colorful background.. I used distress ink wild honey, mowed lawn, salty ocean, seedless preserves and worn lipstick. For the vellum flower I have used Fiskars - Scratch from petals stamp set. Heat embossing with Ranger's white embossing powder and colored the back side using worn lipstick DI.

For the sentiment, I have used STAMPlorations - Hashtag Authentic stamp. And for the sparkle & shine, I used silver gel over the sentiment and also on the background. Here is a close-up with the shining captured successfully!(after several attempts..phew! ) Also, added a few sequins over the card.. I kept it simple as I didn't want my CAS card to be too shiny... :)

I am entering this card for TIME OUT Challenges - inspired by the beautiful card of TRACEY as shown below

Also for Lulupu Challenge - Sparkle & Shine

and

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you like my card..

An accessories box!

Hellooo Sweeettt Craftersssss!! :)
It is nearly the end of August and I wanted to make something different.

I made this mixed media box !

I came across this Iphone box that I kept with me since ages! Thought could put into some use?

I started off by painting the entire box using Gesso from Sakura. And let it dry.

I used two stencils from ARTplorations:
1. Bold Florals - for the cover
2.Leaf print - for the bottom
I used a gold marker to trace these stencils over the box. Giving it a metallic start. I also colored the flowers on the front using black acrylic.

For the box, I struggled at positioning the flowers and finally kept in the way shown. :)
Later, I layered it with gesso and gave shades with white and black acrylic. I again layered with white acrylic and when half wet I brushed Bronze Dust all over. I didn't want too many embellishments. So , kept the bottom as it is. :)

Did you like this box? We can actually use it for keeping jewellery items and accessories. Or of course, craft embellishment! ;)

I am entering it for
