Sweet Treat!

Hello my sweet crafters!!

I have created this special card for a birthday!

It is a:
1.Double Zig Zag fold Card
2.Suspension Card
3.Shaker Card ;)

Here is the Card:

I am going to give a step by step tutorial of this card:

1. I have used Cupcake Digis and fuzzy cut them out like this:

2. For the shaker element, I have used a cupcake shaker template and fuzzy cut the image.
3. I adhered it with an acetate sheet. I added a stick inside for the suspension and added the sequins inside it.

4. I colored the sweet yummy digis using distress ink(Tim Holtz - mowed lawn, worn lipstick, fire brick, seedless preserves, wild honey)

5. For the card, we can create a Double Zig Zag fold card as follows. Take 16*6 inches long sheet. Score at 2,4,6,10,12,14 inches. We can manipulate the measurements as per our requirements.

6.I have used some beautiful patterned papers which I bought from a local store. I cut out these pieces for layering them on the card base.

7. We add these panels onto the card so that when we open up the card, it will show us the suspension + shaker like this:

8.I used Versamark ink and Gold Embossing Powder for the sentiment. Sentiment used is from Bo Bunny Stamps set.I have cut out a panel to hold this card together. I added the sentiment "hello" to it using Bo Bunny Stamp set.

9.When you open this panel, you can see this see-through shaker + suspension cupcake which is the treat for this birthday card!

Here is another look at the card created:

Monster Mash

Hellooo my dear friends..!!

I am back. This is my first card in February! I came across a combination of colours that I really ADORE now! It is black, white and light green! I am really loving it! ;)

Check out my new card with this combination:

I have used a few funny Monster stamps over a white card stock. I have colored them using distress ink. I adhered it on a black paper. I learnt this new faux stitching technique and used it on my card. It gives your card a really sweet look! :)

Now, I added a few green sequins and glued a ribbon at the back of it!

For the interactive part, i have cut out the area covering the "Eye" of the monster so that when you open it...what you see is this... :D

Here is another look at this card! :)

I have decided to make more of the valentines card but for now check this out...

You might at first think , "Oh, why the heart is not colored?" Oh wait, just pull the tag, down and down! And wooooo....the heart is colored and RED.

For stamping, I have used KaiserCraft Cartoon Alphabet Clear Stamps and Fire Brick distress ink. I have added the corners using a Stencil and worn lipstick distress ink. For the interactive part, I have used a permanent markker to make the heart and colored it used fire brick distress ink and stencil.

Interactive Spinning Card!

Helloooo Crafters!!! I am back with another card! :) I created this interactive spinning card! I enjoyed making this card.

I used 2 types of patterned papers and used the blue/turquiose handmade sheet. I have added a digi and painted it using water colour! I have added blue/turquiose and lime embellishments and flower punches.

For the interactive part, I have added a dime below the Magnolia Stamp so that it moves smoothly along the circle! :)
I have used circular shapes everywhere! This is something new to me and I have enjoyed experimenting this interactive technique!

Check out more pics:

I have used a black point pen to highlight the borders of the Magnolia Stamp!
I have used salty ocean distress ink and clear stamps for adding the sentiment!
Have another look at this card! :) Circle has become one of my favorite shapes because they look different and can be used in so many ways! :D

1.handmade blue cardstock
2.2 blue patterned paper
3.blue/turquiose and lime embellishments
