So what happened to September? Wasn't it just Labor Day?
It's been a crazy few weeks for me; we are soooo busy at work that when I get home I don't feel like doing much more than surfing the blogs and plopping down in front of the telly to watch
Jeopardy! I've done a little stitching but not much. I do have some progress pics. It took Blogger forever and a day to load these two, but maybe I can post a couple more tomorrow.
Here's where we are with Anna Theis:
The rose wreath is fiddly and therefore time-consuming, but I love the way it's turning out.
I found a mini SAL on
Eva's blog ; the completed design is posted a little ways down on her blog, on Sept. 21st. The first part is just the center, a block of Algerian eye stitches. I'm using GAST Cameo Rose and Creamed Spinach (I think) from Crescent Colors (I think) on a piece of Lakeside 40 count Attic Lace (I'm sure) that I found when I went stash diving. Here's a close-up of part 1; I have a larger picture with a little more perspective and I'll try to post it tomorrow.
All this messing around with blogger has kept me up past my bedtime! Happy stitching, everyone!
