PIP Challenge 2450

Sponsored by Lawn Fawn

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Lawn Fawn.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship for this week's challenge.  My card this week uses Lawn Fawn's Car Critters and Car Critters Christmas Add On clear stamp sets.

I started out by stamping all of my images, and sayings, onto Copic X-Press It card stock using memento tuxedo black ink before coloring all of them using both prismacolor and copic markers.  Once the coloring was finished, I fussy cut several of the images out and assembled my scene using micro glue dots.  I then blended Tim Holtz stormy sky distress ink around them to "darken" the sky a bit before layering, adding brads and then distressing the bottom edge using my paper distresser.  I then added it to a dry embossed green card using pop up glue dots.  The final touches were pine needles distress ink blended around the card edges, white/silver bakers twine along the top and crystal ice stickles as "falling snow" to finish it off.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Gerda Steiner Designs.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship.  My card uses Gerda's Under The Weather digital stamp, which is discontinued, but the clear set is still available.

After combining the image, and saying, I printed it off onto Neenah white card stock then colored using my Copic© markers before layering and adding black brads.  I then took my card and added raindrops using a raindrop stencil, Tim Holtz stormy sky and milled lavender distress inks and a blending brush.  After stippling ink around the edges of the card, I added my layered image, and small bow, using glue dots.  The final touch was adding waterfall stickles.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by StarStampz. For my card, I am using the Polar Bear digital image.

I started out by printing the image onto Neenah white card stock before pulling out my Castle Arts watercolor pencils, colored the image before blending with an alcohol marker.  After edging the image in memento tuxedo black ink, I layered it before adding white brads and distressing the edges then setting aside.  My card is dry embossed using a Sizzix© snowflake embossing folder with Stampin Up bliss blue ink rubbed lightly over the embossed images and sides.  Taking some snowflake felt fusion I've had for years, I added a border of individual snowflakes before adding my layered image using pop up glue dots.  The final embellishments were white/silver bakers twine, snowflake sequins, silver star stickers and ice stickles glitter glue.  As an afterthought, I added just a touch of white gel pen to the little girl's eyes.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Varada Sharma.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing images for the design team to use.  My card today showcases Varada's Abundance of Joy digital set.

After printing out the images onto Neenah white card stock, I pulled out my Copic markers and got to coloring before lightly stippling Tim Holtz stormy sky distress ink leftover from another project to soften the white around my flowers.  Once I had the image panel layered, I added some white brads and set aside.  Taking a Cuttlebug© Stylized Flowers embossing folder, and my Big Shot© I dry embossed the card base before adhering the layered image panel using glue dots.  The final touches were some sunburst glitter stickles to the flower centers and then some SSS warm tone gems.  I'm pretty happy with how this turned out since I'm still battling COVID and my migraines.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Sheepski Designs.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing images for the design team to use.  My card this week uses the Retro Rocket digital stamps since I don't have many cards that are good for any age.

I started out by printing the combined image on Neenah white card stock before coloring using my copic markers and blending black ink to form space.  Once that was finished, I layered it and added some tiny black brads before adhering to my card base (deliberately at an angle) using glue dots.  Taking some Stampendous silver star stickers that I've had for years, I added those to the image panel before adding ice stickles and glossy accents to highlight parts of the image.  The final embellishment was adding some silver dew drops from my stash.  I'm very happy with how this turned out.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Patties Creations.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing images for the design team to use.  My card this week is using Pattie's Big Beautiful Bathing Beauties.  I kept the card pretty clean and simple because I wanted the emphasis to be on loving oneself.  Lately, it seems like society is trying to make everyone look the same.  All of our bodies are different.  Our health is different and some people have chronic conditions that make it hard to exercise at a gym, let alone have the extra money for it.  Ok, off my soap box.

I started out by combining the image with my own saying in a watermark program, then printing the combined image on Neenah white card stock.  After trimming down to the size I wanted, I colored it using both Lyra and Castle Arts colored pencils and a blender pencil.  Once the coloring was finished, I blended Tim Holtz tumbled glass, broken china, tea dye and brushed corduroy distress inks using my blending brushes.  The only embellishment added was waterfall ice stickles to highlight where the "ocean" would be.

Hello and welcome.  Today starts a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Newton's Nook.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship this week.  My card today is featuring a couple of their retired sets: Newton's Seashell and Palm Paradise.

I started out by stamping the palm trees using memento desert sand, cottage ivy and rich cocoa onto Hammermill white card stock.  Next, I stamped the sun and birds/saying using memento tuxedo black ink before coloring the cat with shell using copics before adding the sand using desert sand ink directly on the card stock.  I then added the sun using memento cantaloupe and tangelo inks before stamping the saying and birds in memento tuxedo black.  Taking my blending brushes, I blended Tim Holtz broken china, tumbled glass and brushed corduroy distress inks before highlighting the sun and water using diamond/waterfall ice stickles.  I'm really happy with how this turned out.

Hello and welcome.  Today starts a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Polkadoodles.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing the design team with images to use.  My card today uses their Gnometastic Birthday Cake image.

After printing the image off on Neenah white card stock, I pulled out my Copic markers and colored my gnome chef up before layering and adding brads.  My card is dry embossed using a Cuttlebug birthday embossing folder and my Big Shot.  Once I was finished with the embossing, I pulled out my Tim Holtz fired brick distress ink and ran the ink pad over the raised images before adding my layered image panel to the card using glue dots.  The final touches was some balloon stickers I received from a friend, yellow ice stickles highlighting the candle flame and some Simon Says Stamp warm tones gems.  I'm really happy with how this card turned out.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Penguin Palace.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing images for the design team to use.  My card today is featuring the Garden Fairy digital stamp and let me say this is one adorable stamp.  I see so many uses for it.

After I had printed the image on Neenah white card stock, I colored it using Castle Arts colored pencils along with a blending pencil before layering and adding brads.  Taking my Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink and a blending brush, I lightly tippled the ink around the colored images before adhering it to a dry embossed eggplant card base.  I then dug out my long retired Stampin Up Wonderful Words stamp set, inked the "Celebrate" using memento tuxedo black ink and stamped it onto a white Neenah scrap before layering and adding some faux brads.  I then stippled Tim Holtz dusty concord distress ink around the edges of the card.  Taking my blending brush, I stippled the leftover ink around the edges of the saying.  My final touch was adding some Meraki Sparkle Green Illusion bling around the colored image panel.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Patties Creations.
I would like to thank them for their sponsorship and for providing images for the design team to use.  Since this is the 5th Monday of the month, we are having a theme challenge and we're wanting to see
flowers.  For my design team card this week, I'm using Pattie's Dogwood Floral Moon image.

I started out by printing the image onto Neenah white card stock before pulling out my Castle Arts watercolor pencils to color the image.  Once my coloring was finished, I stamped the saying from a retired Close To My Heart set called Follow Your Dreams, before lightly blending Tim Holtz stormy sky distress ink using my blending brushes before layering the image and adding some white brads.  My card base is dry embossed using a Cuttlebug© stylized flowers embossing folder and my Big Shot©.  A small pink bow and ice stickles finish it off.  I'm really happy with how this turned out.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by GinaK Designs.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship this week.  For my card, I pulled out this beautiful Winter Flower Mini and "knock out" another Christmas card going with a clean and simple (CAS) layout.

I started out by stamping the leaves, and saying, on Copic white card stock using my MISTI, before stamping the poinsettia onto scrap Copic card stock.  I then stippled some Tim Holtz tattered rose on the image panel to help soften the white a bit.  Once that was all finished, I colored all of the images using Copic markers before fussy cutting the poinsettia out and gluing to the layered panel.  I then pulled out my snowflake sequins from Picket Fence Studios.  After gluing those down, and adding some faux brads, I pulled out my color spritzer and spritzed some rose romance marker over the whole card.  The final touch was adding some yellow ice stickles to the center of the poinsettia.

Sponsored by Lawn Fawn

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Lawn Fawn.  I would like to thank them for their sponsorship this week.  I decided to increase my children's birthday card stash so this week my card features Lawn Fawn's Winter Narwal set I received from a friend and hadn't used yet.

I started out by stamping the main image on scrap white card stock before cutting up the Happy Birthday included with the set.  Once I had done that, I wanted to create my own saying, so I stamped the Have A Narly saying first before stamping the Birthday underneath it before coloring using my copic markers.  After I had the image panel colored, and layered, I adhered that to a retired Gecko Galz ATC Anchor's Away background sheet then layered that.  Since I was making this for a child's birthday, I didn't add any embellishments so the card could be used for any child's age.  Now as an afterthought, I lightly stippled leftover tumbled glass distress ink from a previous project.  I'm fairly happy with it especially since my migraines have been really active again.

Hello and welcome.  Today begins a new challenge over at Pammie's Inky Pinkies and this week we're being sponsored by Gerda Steiner Designs.  I would like to thank Gerda for her sponsorship.  My card is using the Happy 4th Mouse.

I started out by printing the image, minus saying, on Neenah white card stock before coloring using Castle Arts watercolor pencils and a blender pencil.  Once my coloring was finished, I lightly stippled Tim Holtz old paper, stormy sky and chipped sapphire distress inks using my blending brushes before layering and adding some star brads from my stash.  For my card base, I pulled out some riding hood red card stock then adhered a vintage flag panel, I forgot I had, on it before stippling old paper distress ink over it "age" a bit more.  I then adhered my layered image, added some faux sewing with a black gel pen, some blue fibers finish off the card - or so I thought.  As an afterthought, I then stippled Tim Holtz fired brick distress ink around the edges of the card.  I'm happy with how it turned out especially since I made it while dealing with migraines again.
